Same here from Frostmourne. Over 6k
thats exact same thing started for me this morning, word ms went red and up to 10k, i managed to make my isp change my ip and it seems to work fine now, gonna give some testing later today.
It’s fkn unplayable. I’m dying to cone damage way out of danger zone. blizzard should get their s**t together already. Fire chris metzen so they can afford a proper qa team as well.
I’ll be running some PVP content this weekend, so I can check for issues again. However, I am in the southeast U.S. connecting to Chicago and Las Vegas realms only.
If you are in OCE and experiencing lag, it may be the handoff when landing on U.S. WoW realms. Unfortunately, Blizz won’t be able to address that, only the ISP using the handoff can do that for you. It really depends on where the lag is starting. Sometimes a VPN can get around certain routes, but that also depends on your origin point in OCE. Some places only have one or two routes out of the country to the U.S. via submarine cables.
Currently playing frostmourne in australia now internet speed is usually trash id be happy with 300 world but its been unplayable sitting between 5k-7k
even tried a vpn to see if i could make the connection better but have had no luck so far
Game is currently unplayeable. I’ve updated my addons, reset my router, and swept through my cache. I am still constantly lagging and am disconnected a few times an hour. This is miserable.
I’ve been getting disconnects every 15 minutes or so…
Since yesterday the game is unplayable. I use the Wi-Fi and I never had troubles like this ones. Between 2000 until 10 000. Many lags. I got WOW51900319 many times on a character with disconnections (not sure if it’s eveytime) but not on the other ones. But all my characters have between 2000 and 10 000 so still the same problem. When I’m using my 4G on my phone it seems worked well even if I get 50 (22 when I use Wi-Fi). I tried swtor and no problem with 4G and Wi-Fi, I got 22 and the game works very well.
When I use Battle Shout with the Wi-Fi on my character, I get some seconds before releasing the ability or being disconnected 15-20 seconds later. In 4G, I get just 1 second to release the ability and no lags or disconnections.
Also I got 16 titles from SL, DF and TWW everytime I log with one of my characters. It seems to be the titles coming from the renown when we have the level 25.
Like me, if you use Wi-Fi, you should try 4G with your phone, it should work until we get more about this problem.
Unfortunately, as Pawgwalker pointed out in another thread, if you are connecting from OCE into U.S. realms or instances, you are subject to a lot of handoffs in your internet route. Blizzard has no control over those handoffs, you want to take it up with the ISP and tell them you can’t connect to services in North America without significant lag. I highly doubt you will read anything from Blizzard about this because it’s not related to their servers.
The mobile carrier likely uses a different route, escaping the lag plaguing the broadband connection.
I’m connecting from an EU server on a EU realm. It happened to me just yesterday and I got the same problem since. Everything worked well before yesterday, except some little lags sometimes. The only difference should be my internet speed. When I use Wi-Fi and I have 12MB/s when I download something, it seems work well but when my internet speed is higher and I have 25MB/s to download something, all these problems seem happen only on WoW. Of course I don’t download when I play WoW, it’s just to test my internet speed.
Edit: My internet speed is now 12MB/s to download something (and not 25MB/s as there is one hour) and WoW doesn’t have these problems now. So it seems related to “internet speed” even if I can’t explain how and why.
I don’t understand how and why this problem comes. 4G works very well, only Wi-Fi does this problem when I get more internet speed. It’s really incomprehensible.
I play on Zul’jin and the world lag has spiked this morning. unsure why.
Yes, and its not just with Mythic Plus. Did a raid last night and my group was complaining about random input lag. This is from people that have really good PCs and never had these kinds of issues before. It wasn’t just the same people either. Its like it would hit random people each time. Ive seen it in Mythic Plus as well. This is an issue and im not sure what caused it with this recent patch.
I tried every game using online I have and only WoW has this problem. It’s incomprehensible. It needs to be fixed.
Yes, I came here to find out the same thing. I bought an Alienware Laptop to run the game the way it’s supposed to. I don’t do anything else on it. There are no other programs taking up resources.
Not sure if its the same issue but since I logged in today I’ve had nothing but connection issues. Whether it’s never ending trying to connect to the server, or being stuck in a loading screen, or disconnecting despite still having internet connection.
I have many disconnections too and everything else work well until now. It just happens on WoW: disconnections. Other games don’t have this problem. My internet connection works well and the speed is enough to run every game but I get these problem. Don’t understand how and why the problem can happen. But after all of this, I think it’s more a problem with Blizz over our internet connection. My problems began there is one day now and many other people seem to get these problems (lags, disconnections, between 2000 and 10 000, etc) too since one day.
I typically get 35ms-40ms pings. Lately it’s been 55ms-85ms, sometimes much higher. I am also experiencing server lag where auto loot isn’t working and some delays when using actions. I’m on east Coast and playing on Stormrage.
Must use my 4G to play without problem just for WoW. When my Wi-Fi is a little higher (because it can vary a little but not so more), the game becomes very very laggy or disconnect me (and I can’n connect on my character). Maybe using 4G for now could fix the problem for some people but better, if the problem comes from Blizz, to get a fix for this.
My ping appears exactly the same as it was pre-patch, but I’ve all but given up gathering this week because there’s massive lag looting anything in Khaz Algar.
