Has anyone experienced increase combat input lag since 11.0.5 patch?

I don’t know if it’s just me or is this the same for others, but I have been experiencing increased lag since new patch, specifically in dungeons (mythic plus). The game tells me I am still having the same ping around 35ms, but when I press my skills it feels more like 100-200ms or so. Basically it feels like I’m playing on OCE server all the time (I am NA, illidan).

Is anyone else having this problem? Almost feels like invisible lag.

Edit: after reading some response I think the best way to describe it is a combat input lag. It doesn’t show in the latency meter. with very low ms and high fps, this minor input lag still occurs very often, and it started with the 11.0.5 patch.

My main is also on Illidan, but no, I haven’t noticed any latency increases.

I have ran into this issue twice during our raid last night where at the start of a boss encounter. Where everything is usually fine, in those instances I had hit extreme lag spikes and dc.

I did see someone on twitter recently say their raid team experienced this all last night, but I didnt really see anyone talking about it on the forums, yet :thinking:

Might be a skill issue on my part, but a few times per fight I’ll use a finishing ability and am in range and facing the target (and do not get any error), but it never actually is cast and I’m still at full combo points. Seems to be a latency issue, in that it is most common when things are a little sluggish on the response to my abilities.

New patch->More people playing at the same time->Higher server load->Higher chance for lag related things to occur or for you to be sharded to a server further away(like from US to OCE servers or vice versa) to level out server loads.

Also, the more people are in a zone together, the more it exponentiates the server load.

Yes, definitely have been experiencing lagging/input response time. I feel like i have to click an ice lance 4x for before it goes through

yeah, around 7pm est my ping went from uner 80 to 8-12,000 during a dungeon

World bosses are almost unplayable.

Yup, noticed this right away once the patch dropped. Rotations feel really weird and unresponsive.

Yes. Tremendously. I have been playing heavily since new expansion never noticed such lag and on a consistent basis…since 11.0.5.

have 5000 world latency right now. In the middle of raid so frustrating, on Illidan NA as well

Yeeep. Says my frames are steady and my latency is good, but I’ll have my abilities either not go off or I’ll have like 3 abilities all go off at once after a delay.

Hell, it just took around 3 seconds for my toon to start eating after I clicked my food lol

Thanks for the passive aggressive response. I responded directly to their question. They did not ask for troubleshooting assistance. No, it isn’t implied. Posting a bunch of steps in response to a basic question generally causes drama.

You’re right, I was frustrated with the lack of identifying the issue publicly. I am wrong to have directed it towards you and I apologize. You should not be doing the work behind resolving this issue when this is system issue that they should be looking into.

Yep, right when 11.0.5 was up i noticed delay/lag but my latency numbers were normal, im not sure if something changed on Blizzard end or it a problem with my ISP, but it is getting annoying at a point that im playing less time.

Currently dealing with the massive lag spikes in dungeons, raids and any of the events happening in or around the anniversary hub. Its awful.

Haomarush is currently at 2000+ world latency everywhere. Pretty much unplayable.

I am also getting random lag spikes everywhere, but 27/30ms.

Random lag spikes for me too. It was playable yesterday, but today I tanked my ratings from the random spikes to 500+ms in instanced PvP, I have no clue what changed, was working fine yesterday.
