$230
Ill wait till Epic gives it away for free.
Might be years or something until we get to that point, i’m honestly not sure.
I just think it’s very silly considering the console version of this collection (kingdom hearts all in one) is cheaper ($100) and on sale currently for $30 to $25 depending on where you look.
The price is a bit high for games this old. Kingdom Hearts II is older than World of Warcraft. Let that sink in for a minute.
Kingdom Hearts is a wonderful series and worth playing, but I’d probably wait for a price cut to play it. Or for a Steam version while at it.
To be fair the Game unfortunately will be more hackable(to the point that Models from other Games can be shoved in) in the PC Version due to being the PC Version…
Square is going to make sure the customers pay a decent amount to make sure the Hackers don’t siphon away their wealth right off the bat.
Expect the Mods to shove some other Monster in to replace the Heartless! Probably some Elementals(Water, Earth, Fire, Water, Shadow and Light since those are the most common Elementals seen in Fiction outside WoW which has Arcane, Fel and Death Elementals).
I don’t think any company would crank the prices up to the extreme to prevent modders modding a single-player game (which that’s what going to happen anyways). And i don’t think Squenix is the kind of company who would even worry about such a thing. (Or maybe they do and it’s certain single-player titles where they will allow modding like Hitman or Just Cause.)
Another possibility to consider is that maybe you meant they jacked the price up to prevent piracy. Which if that’s the case, that’s a really bad way to prevent piracy and would might even encourage more piracy, especially considering the console version is way cheaper then that. And plus, they are making it exclusive to Epic Games Store, a platform that is well known for giving often big games away for free almost daily or weekly.
Just play the old ones with an emulator
