Hardmode Horseman Unlocks OLD Scarlet Monastery All 4 Wings

Did HM Horseman (ez clap btw), and The Scarlet Key dropped from the pumpkin.

UPDATE:

YES! HOLY CRAP YES!

Loot key from HM pumpkin.

Go to SM.

Find quest marker. It’s a keyring. Complete quest. Use the keyring. Then go straight ahead through now unlocked Cathedral Door!

All 4 wings are accessible when you have the The Scarlet Key Buff! Two doors to unlock (not marked on the map, but cathedral and amrory). The side entrances go to the old zones!

I went to SM, there’s a quest marker inside the vestible with an old key ring! REEEEE QUEST 77644

I may be wrong, I did HM off the rip so never tried it on non-HM lol.

Is hardmode horseman something you queue for at max level?

No it’s an option you select once you zone in. Turn left and you’ll see a set of wicker man. The middle one is big - select him and accept all curses. Dodge the mechanics.

As your post above states, there is a wickerman just inside the open area, on the left. Click him and select “accept all curses”. The word “hardmode” wasn’t an option.

I did not see a “hardmode” option on the dialogue. Do level 70’s see “hardmode”? I did get a warning that it was going to be harder and mechanics would need to be dodged.

Yes that’s the hardmode. When you accept all curses, HM is activated. You should’ve got the kicking the wick achievement too.
