Did you get the Kickin the Wick achievement?
Did you actually open up the loot filled pumpkin? Was it a purple pumpkin?

I do miss the original versions of the vanilla dungeons. Except for Sunken Temple. I would always get hopelessly lost and end up hearthing out.

Then you didn’t complete HM. The achievement only pops once you’ve done it.
Talk to the big, big middle statue. Do “Accept All Curses.” You should be seeing a bunch of random mechanics throughout the fight.

I got the key on my first try. Just talk to all four wickerman to the left, do the fight and get the special achive. The key came from the loot bag.
ill try that way trying now
The MrGM video I watched didn’t mention HM being a requirement.

I only talked to the big one in the middle and got the key. I have done it on 2 level 59’s who get the achievement but no key.
As a heads up. The Hardmode version of the fight has all new mechanics. And every time you get hit you get a debuff that makes you lose 10% of your health.
And its a personal thing to. Only you will see and do said mechanics. lol
