what are the hardest mounts to get in wrath? Anyone know?
As far as difficult content goes, Invincible and Mimiron’s Head, and arguably the Grand Crusader tribute mounts.
As far as drop rate goes, Grand Black War Mammoth because most raids usually go straight for Toravon and ignore the other bosses.
Black Drake was a very hard mount to get earlier in the expansion but now both it and the Twilight Drake can be zerged.
Nothing, you can just do what many are doing in Classic, buying mounts with RMT in GDKPs.
Everything is devalued because of GDKPs and RMT

You’re so blinded by your hatred of GDKPs that you can’t even give OP an actual answer…
None are hard to get but I’d say the least likely to obtain are the Black Mammoth mounts, TLPD, Crusaders White/Black Warhorse (TotGC) and the Glory to the Raider mounts.

Ouch, shame on me for responding to a “hard WotLK mounts” topic and somehow forgetting the TLPD. That’s like listing the greatest minds of the 20th century and leaving out Einstein.

Yeah, I’ve not even attempted to get it when there’s so many people already after it. I’ll try in Cata but even still there’s probably going to be a sizable number of people trying to get it.
When Cata’s live though Mims Head and Invincible are easily on the list with their ~2% drop rate (same as Ashes).

Yeah especially since even 85s won’t be farming those mounts solo.

Well… maybe death knights. I also recall being able to solo Emalon as an 85 prot warrior thanks to Victory Rush and Vengeance. But I don’t think you’ll be seeing Kael’thas killed solo until 90. That was when I could do heroic Lich King as a blood death knight too.
Actually the best solo fight I’ve ever done, since there’s no legacy buff to cheese it and he actually hit enrage for the last 20 seconds. Blowing all cooldowns at once to just barely survive a berserked Lich King smacking you in the face gets the blood pumping.

You are too blinded by your love of RMT to see this.
Not a single mount can be listed as hard to get outside of timed spawns because people just pay for them now. Your love of RMT has devalued the game

Rarest mount is any Glad mount, nothing else even comes close

Nah, people just buy boosts and use 3rd party software in arenas to get Glad mounts.

lol even if every single glad char in the game was teamviewered the mounts would still be statistically the rarest in the game

as for straight up gold boosts, it’s pretty hard to buy a boost to glad if you’ve never arenad before. most glad boosts that i know were like stuck multi season duelists.
same goes for r1 boosts aka the infamous “mmr injection” (mage called mmrinjector team hopping to like 20 R1 teams in tbc classic in one season)
Vast majority of arena boosts are just to low ratings like 2200 so people can get their items. Also the arena community is so dead/small that being a glad boostie is hugely stigmatized, word always travels fast on class discords etc

I believe the topic is “hardest to get” not “rarest”.
And numerous videos have shown multiple Glad streamers using a combination of WAs and AHK(along with a few 3rd party programs) to automate things like CCs and interrupts in arena. It’s not a hard mount to get when people are letting software and boosters do the work for them. Same with raid mounts that people just RMT for now.
The Classic community played itself when it started tolerating and encouraging RMT. Devalues everything in game and is just sad in a remake of a game.

Even while being boosted you are at least 20% of your team (5v5)
in pve you’re 10% or 4% of your team. think about it

All mounts are easy except for the Glad mounts because all you need is luck and time for most but actually need some skill for Glad mounts…
It has nothing to do with RMT, I don’t RMT, just because you’re bad at making gold doesn’t mean that those who are good at making gold got it through RMT. I don’t know why you insist that I RMT, is it just because I defend GDKPs from your blantent hatred and general misunderstanding about how they function? Don’t answer that, that’s a rhetorical question.
The value of the game is dependent on what you value it at, if you think I devalue it by believeing that I RMT then that’s a you problem. Be better at making gold and then maybe you’ll be happier.

They are mad because he can’t get into a GDKP or a Guild run due to lack of funds, skills or abilities, so he spews toxic nonsense in the forums.
