Hardest dps to play at highest level?

Wondering what you all think. Would I be wrong in your mind to say

Subt rogue
survival hunter

Agree.

But then again. Once any class becomes muscle memory its all ez to some. Just some classes take longer getting there. I picked up Arms within a couple hours its so 1 dimensional

Classes that have the most tools require more skill to play at the highest level.

yet you have a 35% win rate with 1000 games and still say destro is hard

but destro is hard
did you know that havoc coiling requires perfect eye coordination
if you have short term memory loss and forget to havoc before coiling you know that destro is hard

I think the hardest dps would be enhance shaman

Bleed feral is one I can never get the hang of. Optimizing bloodtalons usage in a pvp setting felt really unintuitive.

I don’t think WoD feral with massive bites is as hard though.

bleeds mattered a lot more in wod than they do now

not claiming they matter now since most of the ferals just stack iron jaws. They did matter super early in bfa when people played king of the jungle

the few times in tourneys i’ve looked most ferals are playing masterful instincts and random backup traits, but it’s been a minute since i bothered to look. is iron jaws more than just a ladder meme now?

It was played in tourney as well if the little app thing they had wasn’t bugged. Can’t remember which of the jungles it was, but probably nlite.

Edit: Actually maybe it was the lock feral team. In any case I remember telling my friend in discord that someone in tourney was running 3x iron jaws

1000 games where?

I think your maths is a tad off

Sub rogue is really scripted and not 10k iq imo, it’s success relies on your opponents failure really

Don’t think SV is too hard to play, maybe I’m wrong though. It’s just annoying to play sometimes

Feral maybe has some of the most potential I guess.

I mean we’re talking highest level though so I guess arguments can be made that the differences between mages is massive despite their simplifications. This is assuming we’re talking tourney level. Really you just have to look at stuff that’s hard to play as an alt tourney level.

But idk compared to older versions of WoW nothing is too crazy, everything is much simpler you just have specs that are maybe a moderate challenge and then those that require little thought whatsoever.

what made older versions of wow more difficult to win arenas?

Wod feral required 3 brain cells

Demonology warlock for sure, dmg is really hard to setup especially in 3s

Enhance Shaman.

Survival hunter is best in arena now in Jungle cleave comp, it’s viable.

Sub rogue maybe, but with a RMP it can work. I wouldn’t say impossible, but doable.

But I would say enhance shaman would be the hardest dps to play at highest level.

Enh shaman?! lol you hypothetically could literally press stormsttrike 100% of the time if you got the adequate stormbringer procs.

Enhance isn’t hard at all. You keep the two buffs up and press stormstrike with lashes in between stormbringer and CL fishing for SB procs.

No class in this game is “hard” to play. I’d argue windwalker is the only one that has nuance because combo strikes requires you not hit the same buttons twice and there is a big difference between good WW and great ones; split second decisions as to when you press blackout kick or tiger palm make or break rotational fluidity and it comes from knowing where you’re at with combo points, energy, and how much longer you have on FoF CD.

Literally 100% of the rotations in this game are brain dead, so don’t pretend like any of them are hard. But at the very least WW forces you to use critical thinking skills when weighing globals.

Enchance shaman is the most ANNOYING…as you have to press like 19 buttons before you can actually start doing any damage. But it is in no way hard.
