Harder and harder to justify paying for WoW

Wwll, if enough people quit for similar reasons they probably sit up and notice - they just never let us see them bleed.

Stop then. It’s a game.

If you are justifying paying for a game then you’re doing it wrong. It’s fun and you enjoy it, or you don’t. The only question should he is whether or not your bills are paid.

I agree with the OP, specifically the fact that they should do better. They should have hired UX Designers actually playing the game.

And as people said above, the simple fact that you can’t move target of target shows how meh this feature is. I was really hype by all this, but in the end, I just installed Bartender again which allows me to move bags, system tray, etc. And also have better buttons. I thought alternative buttons for the UI was in this feature but I was wrong.

It’s Still better than the original UI though.

A lvl 12 with 78 posts. Def not an alt of someone already in this argument

CurseForge says otherwise.

This is a hilariously bad argument to make for your case when the vast majority of these people are having an extremely difficult time even setting up the super basic UI Blizzard added, there’s no chance they could handle something more advanced like elvUi etc…

I dislike you as a person, but this post was amazing. Well done.

What does it say?

A lot of comments along the same lines…

When I say WoW is not cheap, it’s in comparison to other games (I should have specified that). It’s to support the proposition that WoW makes a lot of money for Blizzard, much more than just about every other game out there. When I say it’s hard to justify paying for WoW; it’s a comment on the quality of the software/service they offer. That argument has nothing to do with me deciding between a big mac and WoW. Although, if so many interpret it that way, it might have been poorly structured or worded.

On people telling me to just quit; that is just such an irrelevant response. For all you know, I might really enjoy the game or I might not; despite what I think of their UI and the quality of their software. I am simply providing feedback to Blizzard.

The reality is that people focus on the first paragraph and completely disregard the other four paragraphs. Which, after all these years, is still typical of internet arguments. The point I am trying to make (and failing apparently), is that Blizzard can do better. UI is one of those areas.

DBM > 397.1M downloads
Raider IO > 213.4M downloads
Details! > 123.8M downloads
WeakAuras > 130.5M downloads
Recount > 115.9M downloads
AtlasLoot > 61.5M downloads

And this tells you what? Walk me through it.

DBM, Weakauras and damage meters are pretty much standard for anyone running heroic or mythic raids. The recent change was due to so many players using an addon for UI and bags. No different than way back when Blizzard finally added a quest tracker to game due to popularity of questie. Everyone I know that plays this game uses an addon of some sort. If addons weren’t popular or used by so many players, those changes would have never been made to the game. So I highly doubt your claim.

This is what the the thread is about.

Are these addons adding templates that Blizzard could have provided insight for the new UI?

Oh he’s drunk! How would he know where we’re going?

Stop crying and go to fortnite where you belong.

Then don’t pay for it. Stop playing.

That’s literally the answer to your problems.

No, it doesn’t. CurseForge has a total life of downloads. We have no idea the total life of players and how many times they have needed to re-download mods.

I’ve redownloaded mods on like ten separate occasions off the top of my head. The only people complaining about the UI are people who don’t intend to use Mods for it. And considering how many posts of people whining exist about the UI? Oof, I’d say there’s quite a few who use Blizz’s UI.

You know, you don’t have to foam at the mouth like a rabid animal everytime someone wants to critique your sweet Activislon BIizzard

Let’s say there are 1000 guilds that raid seriously, let’s say that each guild has atleast 1 25 man raid, that’s 25,000 people . That’s alot . And I’m probably being quite generous to the contrary.

Nay, I’m most definitely being generous to the contrary. Even semi casual guilds often require their Raiders atleast use DBM.
