cope
there is no magic period where wrath suddenly gets good.
itās just people experiencing a novel new raid a few times and getting bored, ad infinitum.
Wrath is good, better than retail anyway. ICC might not make it better but youāre correct in that it is novel. It is much more novel than Ulduar and TOGC. Ulduar had fond memories but the reality is many classic players couldnāt handle it. TOGC is too short, which is great for raid loggers like me but itās definitely not a peak WoW period.
Naxx kept going for a long time. The Naxx phase just lasted too long. The ICC phase will be good and yes it will die down but not for a while.
Dont ever bother replying to them. They say literally the dumbest BS just to get a reaction. They are a troll - dont waste your time.
my friend told me if i was interested in a time consuming hardcore experience, i should just go outside more LOL
that said, iām excited for HC classic. iām not sure iāll ever do high level groups etc, but the goal is to hit 60 over time with a warlock, hunter, or rogue
I want it to be a success so there will be peeps in the world to do stuff with. I suspect with the nature of hardcore though, there will always be low level content sub 20 or 30 happening, which is nice, and missing from classic era (or at least last time i played)
sub lvl 30 in classic era is off the charts right now
but yes, HC will always be full of levelers, as many people consider 1-60 to be āthe gameā and anything after is just a bonus. HC is the mode for alt enjoyers, no doubt.
It will be all the rage for a while and then settle into its niche.
Fad, Iāll never touch itā¦
Okay maybeā¦
Noā¦ NO! Just like I will never play another Dracthyr! I donāt have dreams of Pyre I do not
trembles, thinking about pyre
True for a lot of us, but still subjective. A lot of ppl have no interest in this mode at all.
sure, but there are too many haters who want to spread the false meme that HC is just a fad that will die in 2 months
ironically, they really are just projecting, because the truth is, the biggest fad in WoW is the crowd that wants to keep following the expansions. canāt wait for that to die off and we can just focus on vanilla exclusively.
Haha, *soon
Hardcore will have a niche long-lasting community and a major tsunami of tourists during first month.
i cant wait
Hardcore was supported in Season of Mastery (āsoul of ironā buff) - it makes perfect sense for HC to get its own set of dedicated servers before season 2.
Without this, HC players would have taken over a fresh server.
I can see a super mash-up of different toons dying, set to Megadethās 99 ways to die!
Once I played hardcore in Diablo I couldnāt go back to standard. There will always be a hardcore fan base.
I think Hardcore will do well for a time but blizzard is somewhat late to the party on it as folks have done and done again with the add on. Itāll gain some attention for some time but will slowly drop off for many. Most Iāve heard from folks as of late is when is this so called new season (even though they said itās not going to be a season of mastery) will hit that will bring lots back to classic.
The people that never actually wanted HC will join and then it will ādieā. The people that actually wanted hardcore will be there for good and it will be healthy. Horde might have a problem on the HC server at the end but alliance will be good.
amazing at what ?
no raids
little to no dungeons
itās a single player version of wow. leveling perpetually in a version of the game with the worst questing experience.
Even if you get to 60, itās pointless. Just start over.
What sane person would play this?
Yeah, just call anybody not liking the same as you āinsaneā.
You must live in a wonderful world.
Iāve already made a deal with myself.
Die before 20 = try again.
Die at 20 or after = go back to Era.
