Harassment

How do you report a player for harassment?

There is a specific ticket path, but looks this over first.

Harrassment takes a while to establish , and you have to use other tools as well, reporting chat violations, using the ignore system and not responding, etc.

To add to what Kozzae mentioned, do you mean on the forums or in-game?

It will also depend on the nature of the ‘harassment’. Not everything that people feel is harassment, is classified as such by Blizzard.

If it’s ongoing and you’ve tried ignoring them, you can use this link to submit a ticket for “Ongoing Harassment.”

Replying to you in a way you don’t like, is not against the rules. If you post ANYONE can reply. It is not considered harassment to disagree with you, post in threads you post in, or say things you don’t like.

If it actually breaks the code of conduct - that is different. Profanity, masked profanity, slurs, hateful speech, threats/insults.

Flag posts that break the rules. If the mods restore it, chances are they either made a mistake, or the thread was not against the rules.

You have the tools to avoid seeing what you don’t wish to see. USE IGNORE. That prevents you from seeing posts you don’t care for. You can also mute whole threads by clicking the tracking drop down at the bottom left and muting it.

You’re right, I deleted it.
:pensive: It’s just infuriating & upsetting for such to happen and I felt let down by the moderators.

I thought you weren’t able to create entire threads about other people?

You didn’t mention that someone was calling you out in a thread or making a thread about you specifically.

As for a thread being restored, I believe that after a certain amount of time, it automatically becomes restored if not moderated.

I thought I had, my apologies. But it is somewhat relieving to know that it may had been automatic based on a time-issue, rather than a deliberate action taken.

That being said, I’ve seen this person do it to others too; whilst they may not directly call them out initially, they’ll berate them ‘anomalously’ in a thread of theirs, then later on reveal who it is by a link to said-person’s profile or thread in the comments later on.

report that post

Okay yeah. NORMALLY when people leave out a mountain of information it’s because it makes them look bad, but you should have led with this. If this is repeated behavior at multiple people it changes everything about how your story looks

TROLLS ARE THE WORST!oops sry caps

Is that threads? Or also posts?
