Happy pride month! Hope to see in-game events!

Yup. We’re the bad people. I know. God forbid we love everybody and not want segregation here.

Blitz is perfectly fine with that apparently.

It’s sad.

At this point I’m convinced that Tuulln is a blue alt. It’s the only logical explanation remaining.

That’s giving him to much credit. Well sorta, at least Tuln is active on the forums :smiling_imp:

Well thanks… I guess? I’m just bringing awareness for June pride month. Is there something wrong with that or are you just trolling?

Everyone is aware long before you ever posted on the forums. And I was trolling blues by using you.

It’s pride week, what’s this month stuff?

Is there no reason to be prideful other months out of the year?

Do you believe in Santa Claus? Cupid? etc.?

Why would they make calling out anti-gay bigotry bannable?!

I simply do not care.
It’s a fantasy video game and I don’t care about any political agenda, left or right or both, being in the damn game.

How about happy HUMAN month? why do you feel the need to segregate yourself from the rest of the population?

Pride really does show people want more power in the world. There’s a reason it’s one of the seven deadly sins. You try to put yourself on a pedestal as being a gay person, for the world to see.

Pride, pride, pride, pride, pride. It’s quite sad what this world has come to, making 18 thousand different groups for everyone to separate themselves.

It’s not segregation; str8 cis ppl are allowed to go to LGBT pride events

Wow so you’re saying LGBT people are guilty of deadly sins?!

I’m considering hosting a pride event. If I do, it’ll be private and for cool kids only.

thats not very inclusive of you.

The comfort and safety of the people who are invited is more important to me than being inclusive of totally random people that could be trolls, other bad faith actors, and/or malicious.

Then why are you in this thread. It’s to sponsor public events and hopefully get people interested. Your closed event isnt a pride event. It’s more like a family BBQ… stop trolling

There’s no anti-gay lore though. There’s no evidence of discrimination against gays in Azeroth, so there would be no pretense for such events, in Azeroth.

Honestly, I hope they don’t add such to the game, as it’d just be another thing of pandering and saying ‘look at us, we support the thing during this particular month of the year, aren’t we a goooood games company’ and would likely involve cash shop purchases for things too so they could make money off it, maybe even claiming to donate x% of sales of those items to a charity when they’d be using that to get takes breaks at the end of the year so they make pure profit on it.

Honestly, reminds me of a clip I saw from some show where a robot knocked a lady down and originally it was something about ‘congratulations, you are being saved, do not resist’ and was replaced with ‘congratulations gay, you are profitable, do not resist’ and that’s really what the various pride/history months feel like anymore.

Just because it’s not open to trolls doesn’t mean it’s a family barbeque. It also doesn’t make it not a pride event. Especially seeing as how a vast majority of people who would get invited would be LGBT+ folks and allies.

my god what a lovely face you have

Calling someone out, name calling, it fits right in there with harassment. The only reason you seem to get away with it is Blizzard is scared of the woke police. Why I have no idea, seems like the entire entertainment industry is being held down or highjacked by this joke of a movement called woke.

Isn’t Pride a sinny sin sin? I kid, I kid. I was always taught not to be prideful. My stepdaughter has a trans friend and so does my brother (though we don’t see her anymore) and my wife’s best friend from high school is a gay man, so I have no problems, just being proud of your sexuality always struck me as odd.

I’m not proud to be straight. It’s just how I was programmed by nature I’m thinking. I hated girls in elementary school because they tended to be meaner and only had a few male friends (hated most other boys just as much tbh), then puberty hit and I loved girls even though they still made fun of me about the same (and started using my shyness around them to poke even more fun).

Pardon me if I segue topics, but one group I just don’t understand is incels. Like, I was “involuntarily celibate” in the strictest sense (that I wanted girlfriends but only knew rejection) for close to 20 years, but never did I start hating on the objects of my desire.

If anything I started thinking of femininity as divine (became my own unique brand of Goddess Worshipper) and put the ones I really liked on pedestals. Completely opposite reaction, though unfortunately with about the same results.

I just got explained by my wife that even she probably wouldn’t have liked me in my 20’s based on my explanations of how I was. That was kind of a downer when even the woman who loves you says you were basically unlovable when you were younger and basically outlines precisely why I was always rejected, but I digress.

On the other hand I never thought I’d get married let alone get married to a person that does not feel in any way I “settled for,” so there’s that. Here’s hoping I don’t have an aneurysm at 49 so I can actually enjoy the back half of my life at least.

You know what, if you’re proud be proud. If that really means you just have nothing to hide anymore, good on ya.
