Everyone here who still has their moms should be very thankful. For some of us our moms have past away and we can no longer celebrate this day with them.

I am sorry to hear about your loss, too. I am doing my best today to remember all the goofy, positive things about Mom.
My sister lives in NJ, I am in Maine, and Mom would take turns between us for Mother’s Day. She would have been here this year - and we’d be spending the day planting outside as we always did.
Firsts without the parents are always hard.
