When I was a kid, whenever the 13th fell on a Friday, which isn’t often, it was referred to as black Friday.
Now, due to the spread of all things American via the internet, black Friday is some bloody retail sale Friday in late November after thanksgiving, which means absolutely nothing to an Australian.
