Halp, character cant buy dark ranger armor

title ^. my worgen hunter that did the return to lordaeron questline and got the achievement for dark ranger/title and relevant customs is unable to buy the tmog ensemble from the worgen npc at hunter class hall. i do not see it in his vendor window what soever.

no idea if im bugged or just missing something. but would love some halp as i want to claim the tmog but i currently…cant?

Have u checked if u already learnt it

yeah i typed the name of the set in my appearances tab search box and it shows as unlearned.

have u tried a full UI reset

yeah it makes no difference.

Which character, Articskoll?

The only two hunters on any of your licenses that are level 60 (the level needed) don’t appear to have done the quest required to get the ensemble. Doing it on your Druid should allow for the elf customizatoin and title.

But not the transmog, which is very specifically “hunters only”. Which means the hunter has to complete the entire quest chain, including the one-shot quest with Ranger Velonara

Only a hunter will receive the ensemble when completing the quest.

either my nelf hunter on terokkar US, that one has the achievement i checked that toons achievement log, or my worgen hunter on stormrage thats 60, i went to the vendor required while on the worgen and he doesnt have it whatsoever.

i know ive done the questline but i cant pick up the ensemble box. and i dont have game time atm on the account the night elf hunter is on so i cant check that toon with the vendor.

checked the armory page for my nelf h unter and it does show that i completed the questline and achievement back in june on the 8th of 2022. but if i view the armory page for my 60 worgen hunter the achievement isnt shown as completed, even though it shows it in game that it is.

side note, id also like to collect the set on my EU account however Genn doesnt appear to be present in oribos so i have no idea how to get the quest line on my 60 EU hunter. if i even can anymore.

You have completed the quest line and earned the achievement on Articskoll, but not on your Night Elf Hunter on Terokkar nor on your Worgen Hunter on Stormrage.

The achievement is account wide, which grants the character customizations and the title. Only completing the quest line on a Hunter grants them the ability to purchase the Ensemble.

As far as I know you need to be lvl 60 and join a Covenant before you get offered this quest.

so youre saying i need to re do the entire questline on one of the hunters then in order to claim it even though this druid has already done it once?

doesnt that sound a little silly?

with threads of fate option of SL leveling removed can you even pick a covenant anymore or is that removed?

That is generally matter of opinion. I don’t think so myself. Primarily because the achievement isn’t what gives you the Ensemble, the achievement says what it grants on it.

The added bonus you get from doing that quest line is granted to Hunters and Hunters alone.

It is similar to the Blue Dragonflight quest line if your character also is a wielder of Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa’s Rest.

Picking a covenant is part of Shadowlands, it has nothing to do with Threads of Fate. Threads of Fate was simply an alternate way of leveling during the Shadowlands expansion for alt characters.

okay, so from what youre saying then, both of my 60 hunters need to quest through SL enough til i get to the point to pick a covenant, join it, then i should be a ble to collect the questline to collect the ensemble?

i just dont want to waste my time playing SL content at 60 that i dont get Experience for in the case of my EU hunter as i dont have dragonflight on that account. at least here on NA my druids already done the intro at least once and is tied to ardenweald, my 60 hunter here on NA i dont think has a covenant, as my druid was the only toon i played during Shadowlands when it was current.

Basically, yes. Depending on where you are in questing for Shadowlands, if you ever selected Threads of Fate prior to Dragonflight coming out, you may still have that option. Otherwise, you would need to reach level 60 and complete the Shadowlands campaign to pick a covenant.

Once learned, Ensemble should be applicable to any Hunter you have on your account (per region), so once on NA and once on EU.

okay thank you,

no idea where the US/NA worgen hunter is in terms of the intro shadowlands quest line, but the EU one is somewhere in the maldraxxus part of it.

the 2 60 hunters in question on my account are under the same name- lilyredhood-stormrage NA, and lilyredhood-argent Dawn EU
