Lag issues during Watcher Irideus encounter

I had started a converstation over in GD about this topic → And it seems that a few people are experiencing the same issue that I am. Not sure if this is a known or expected thing. But during the electrical puddle phase of Watcher Irideus I get hit with a decrease in performance during the encounter. FPS drops and there is significant delay / lag.
