I was casually just fishing, got disconnected and came back and my buff is gone. Tried to abandon the quest and try again. No luck because the buff is ONE TIME. I tried logging onto another character to test to see if I didn’t waste my week of trying for the “Derby Dash” achievement and guess what NO BUFF! Please fix this because this is unfair and a waste of my week of trying to get my currency and achievements related to this quest.

i did this quest with the buff no problem then i relogged and the quest reapperead again but this time there is no buff another bug to mention.

I hope they have a fix imminent so people can still have a chance than wait a week.
I just accepted the quest and didn’t get the buff at all. Nobody around me seems to have the buff either.
Same here, just tried to pick up the quest and no buff was applied.
Same, no buff when accepting quest. Abandoning and trying again, and even relogging doesn’t work.
Never got the buff when accepting quest for first time this week. Blizz this shouldnt be a hard fix, its noon on saturday, the only day we can do this, fix your sh!t.

I also never got the buff for accepting the quest this week. Last week got it no issue. This week, accepted the quest, no buff, really disappointed.
Also tried to pick up the quest on my main today (was excited to have max fishing for this week), and no buff, come on Blizz…
Also did not get the buff upon accepting the quest after daily reset. Did not disconnect or log out.

Same, accepted quest apparently no buff. I fished a few Bloods up and wondered why none of them were triggering the quest then realized the buff wasn’t given. For something that happens only once a week, this really sucks that you can’t do it. I enjoy fishing in the game and looked forward to this. But I don’t want to waste my time with it.

No buff for me either today. I did not log out at all. After about 30 min, I dropped and picked up again. No change
Same as everyone else. Got the buff last week and was able to log off for irl stuff and then come back to do it and no issues. This week tried to do same and buff was gone. Please fix this.
Same issue here. I’ve tried abandoning/accepting the quest, warmode on/off, and logging out for awhile to see if I can get the quest with the buff. No can do.
yup same issue couldn’t get the last trophy fish even fishing for the full hour, buff went away so abandoned and tried to accept again was given the buff after accepting but then had to log out to get dinner came back buff was gone so went to abandon and reaccept again but now can’t get the buff…
I have this problem now too. Started the daily, left to go pick up dinner for family. Returned, saw the needed fishing pool, caught nothing and no buff any more. Returned to original NPC to ask for a new buff, but he won’t provided it.
Feels broken.
Same here all. Captain is there and offering quest but no buff thus I can not complete the quest nor go after the other fish for achievement.
Missed it last week with fishing skill too low, so I thought I would level it out. Now I feel robbed as it is not working.
