Perhaps they’re going to be challenge appearances? Yeah, I don’t know. When cosmetics are literally the ONLY permanent rewards for playing (abilities are pruned, levels are squished, and gear is obsolete in 6 months these days), it’s pretty silly to limit trasmogs.
Thought the same with dark iron dwarf ones datamined, never got into the game. I guess they just discard some or keep for later, whenever later might be. If later is 9.2, I’ll be back then.
Blizz does this all the time; there’s still really cool alliance NPC exclusive armor you can’t get for absolutely no reason. They had warglaives since day one, too, but only in TBC could you get your hands on even a version of them.
Sound like the Steward Hammer. They added all the color of the hammer got the model but its the only gold weapon version Not usuable for player that is gold from kyrian for some reason. Why bother make a model give gold to everyone except for this specific one
Why though? Without these 9.1 is barren of transmogs.
They already reused legendaries as the only new armor in 9.1, do you mean to tell me this is 9.2 content?
But most of all, there’s always the option of it never coming into game, like some allied races datamined weapons.
