I like to roleplay that this character is a half elf. Elven father, Human mother. She is interested in the void as a field of study and works with void elves but isn’t a fully voidified void elf.

Half-Elves are only half-people, which is why we have to quantify they only being half of something.
oh, no I’m talking 3.5.
I gave up on the core D&D systems after the nightmare that was 4th. I’ve heard good things about 5th, but we swapped over to pathfinder 1st and 2nd ed and aren’t looking to go back. Ran the 2nd ed of the Warcraft tabletop game for about a decade and ported it into pathfinder as well.
I do not think short eared elves is half elves.
We need a full on race to justify it.
How does one became a Half Elf?
