It’s a dark teal and a dark blue that can get the effect.
In most lighting it’s the same really. A good substitute for black.
Void elf NPCs do have a black option though that is unfinished.

Exactly, they’re no longer high elves, which was also stated in the scenario.
There are factually still high elves who refer to themselves as high elves, who are alliance and neutral.

I think it is a black but it’s definetly not a straight black.
Honestly I don’t want to get into the color theory arguments again…
Some people will accept it as a black option some won’t.
I use it myself and rather enjoy it.
Its not an actual black hair color though, like the human black hair or almost black hair. Its teal apparently.
And its good not to tell anyone to stop asking!

Like I said, the black I’m usually referring to when I say I want black is the npc option that’s unfinished we don’t have access to.
That one is definetly black.
(I’m also not entirely happy with human or blood elf black now you mention it though)

Is that a male only option for color? Or a hair style specific color? When looking at your toon on the armory, it looks teal but dark teal. Black hair color is not available for female void elves.

It works best on short hair styles.
And lighting plays a key role in it looking more black or less.
For me it always looks black… Cause it’s only on my beard.
I did have a female void elf with it and it does look very black if you’re in the right places.
Like I said, works for some, not for others.
