Hi. The boss in the quest “Into the Machine” was too strong. It was unbeatable.
So I tried to leave the instance. There was no option the leave the instance when I right-clicked my portrait.
I abandoned the quest. Then I respawned Dead in The Earthen Works. I had to enter the Instance to get to my corpse and revive myself. So here we are: I’m back in the instance again with no way out.
Is there a way for me to leave the Instance and start the quest again? Otherwise, leaving the Instance and giving up on the Campaign is also good. If I can get back to the outside world, I can do Dungeons, PvP and Delves.
In these quests, the NPCs should fight with you and they should be good, because it’s hard to find friends that need to do your current quest all the time.
Edit: The good thing is, the game took me out of the Instance by the time I logged back in. I saw somebody online thinking of using the Hearthstone. And I wanted to try that.
My remaining questions are: How do I easily restart the Quest line? And is there a way to queue with other players for the Dungeons in the Quest lines?
have you tried hearthing?

Wowhead tends to have some pretty good resources for helping you to find things. Into the Machine is granted by Moira Thaurissan who I believe is in the Earthenworks at that point (which you already appear to have in your quest log on this character).
I can’t really answer the other questions, but usually if a fight is too tough it’s a matter of gear or you might be missing something about the fight (i.e. attacking at certain points, etc…). Someone more familiar with the encounter may be able to provide some advice.

Thank you Capslock and Vrakthris. ^^ I found Moira and restarted the quest. Vrakthris, I might attempt the quest alone again.
However, as a Rogue, I most-likely will need to rely on the party-finder. In future expansions, all difficult Instances should count as Dungeons (edit: or Delves). So that players can queue and tackle these problems together.
You didn’t happen to walk into the Stonevault Dungeon, did you?
The instances version for the quest is a separate instance, but the entrance is near the dungeon. Below is a linked comment about the entrances.

Thank you Jeysca. ^^ That map of Stonevault was handy. However I tried going back to the entrance earlier. And the doors behind me are usually locked. Also, if I barely go in and want to go out, I think the portal was locked.
Thank you to a question I found with Google and to Capslock. Hearthing did the trick. ^^
But Jeysca, if you’re saying I can leave in another way, even if I met the boss, that is helpful. I can look for that. Thanks. ^^
Edit: Vrakthris, what you said helped. I equipped a pretty good dagger. But I should equip my sword again instead. Gear would help.
You get the option to leave.after 5 waves my advice small guys first intrup the dwarf shooting lasers insta kill if you get to the mechanical tower take it out first.

Interrupt the guys with the beams, it insta kills them, then just pull whatever mobs are attacking the npc because you need to keep their health up. At some point in the waves a little mob that leaves a flask on the ground will spawn, kill these and run over the flasks to throw health back into the npc, you need this for the final waves or the npc just takes too much damage and will die. use your kicks and crowd controls

I think Stonevault Dungeon would be very hard. But I was stuck in TWW Quest called Into the Machine.
I equipped a dagger on my offhand as an Outlaw Rogue. Big mistake. I did little damage.
But your advice still counts. I should only stun the boss when I can’t kick their spells.
That might have been enough. But my friend helped me with the quest. He is a cute Ret Paladin Dwarf.
Edit: Jaysca, I saw what you said. I accidentally walked into that Dungeon when my friend was there. But originally I did not. The Quest was that dang hard for an Outlaw Rogue (with mostly gear from Story Quests) to do all by himself.

I’ve only played outlaw when it was still combat, but if i remember right it is less single target dps then assassination or subetly. If you get hard stopped on a high health quest mob try going asssassination for the mob may get it down for you if you have a set of daggers.

Thank you for the advice Nikisndrs. If I get hard-stuck, I might learn and use Assassination. I didn’t think of that. Thank you.
