OOC Update
Happy holidays from the Skyrunners to everyone on the forums! For the holidays we wound down on recruitment to get everyone established and to allow breathing room during this busy time but come the new year we’ll be back at it in force!
IC Update
With the rebuilding of the village well underway Kanatu and the Tribe look to the assault and the hunt of those that destroyed their people. Unfortunately, this aggressive stance has lead to the death of one of their own. Grutuk was killed by renegade elves thought to be connected to the Army of the Black Moon.
Trade routes are now connected to the tribe through many sources including Votor Bloodsky and Zilas Pepperwats. Both of which are skilled suppliers in all manner of goods. In particular, Zilas has helped solve the issue of wood and through her dealings, the Tribe now has a steady supply of wood to rebuild their village and hopefully additional supplies are on the way to bolster defenses.
With a possible lead on the reason for the initial attack and the suspected activity in the centaur in the area, the Tribe has started to apply pressure to various locations around Desolace through scouting missions as well as unlikely and very temporary alliances with those living in Desolace to help irradicate a common enemy.

After fending off the most recent attack on the village by the centaurs, the tribe is going to need to rebuild quickly if they have any hopes of launching a counter attack.

OOC Update
The guild has completed the first part of our most recent campaign and we are off to the next. With the pawns on the map pushed aside it is time for the tribe to hunt down the killers of the previous chieftain though things are more complex than they could have imagined.
IC Update
A lot can happen in a month of time. Life within the Tribe is no exception. As the centaur threat was washed away the tribe found the cost to be rather high. One of the braves has lost a leg and the Sky-Reaver has fallen into a coma of sorts from which she seems unable to wake. The tensions between the old traditions of the tribe and the new ideas and vision of Kanatu seem to be growing ever stronger to the point where open fighting has broken out. As more members that were once only friends and allies become full tribesman it is hoped that this tension will start to shift.
As the Tribe’s sights turn now to the renegade elves that attacked them they will need to pull together as one in order to avenge their fallen and live to tell the tale.

-Dasatu the son of the Chieftain has also returned though he remains outcast in part due to what has happened to him. He remains a Farflier though is no longer considered dead

Iko the beast Trader- A curious little vulpera that specializes in the training of strange beasts. She may be small but she’s proven a loyal fighter and has recently made it known her intentions to join the tribe fully
Korgig of the Maghar- An orc smith that has recently come to the village
Kamiri- An experimental brewer and devote of Krawg’wa this vulpera has a calm and serious nature that has taken up with the tribe while she searches for materials to experiment with.
Varei- A Vulperian engineer to assist with special projects about the tribe though he’s taken a few too many explosions to the head it seems
The druids are partying down in Feralas.
And by “partying” I mean getting a handle on a new form and recovering from fireballs to the face.

It’s nice to see more Tauren tribes up and about, from reading the posts, I’m liking the constant updates that keeps people in the loop as well as advertising to show a steady growth for anyone doing research.

Had a great event tonight. A lot of new faces among us and I am really pleased with how the story is moving forward with everyone participating and shaping the landscape of the campaign. It’s really a joy to watch and I absolutely love watching the amazing ideas the members come up with to make events fun and engaging.

OOC Update
We’ve started a new schedule to accommodate more of our members. Campaign Events now run Monday and Wednesdays while Member Run events take place on Fridays. We’re hopeful that this will bring more of our amazing players to the table and really get the stories to a fuller and deeper place.
IC Update
Life among the Tribe has slowed down some in the last month. Some of the tribe had ventured to Orgrimmar, the two-week trip affording them a much-needed break from the confines of the Village as well as the chance to gather supplies. The primary focus of the trip was to have an old elder bull translate an inscription from elven ruins. In the meantime, the village was run by Narv Hidecrafter, a very old and very grumpy bull who does not agree with the Chieftain’s choices to open the Tribe up to the rest of the world. Though perhaps Kanatu knew what he was doing because the tensions between the old way of life and the new members that are not blood-born have eased considerably upon his return.
Now with both parties returned home they are ready to start hunting the former Chieftain’s killers. Armed with new weapons and armor, new information, and a way to track them down the Tribe seems hopeful that their retribution over the wrongs done to them will be fulfilled at last. At least so long as the maddening whispers do not overtake them first.

- Mahala Farsinger both joined the tribe and became a Tribesman in fairly short order
- Beast Tamer Iko has chosen the Skyrunners as her forever caravan and taken the Offering of the Blooded Feather Rite to become a Tribesman herself
Arrivals- Lakodha Autumngrain, an older Seer of the Tribe has returned from his work on the frontlines of the Fourth War to find his tribe completely changed from when he left it nine months ago. Adjusting to the new way of life is not easy for the bull.
- Eina Soothide has found her way to the Tribe and been hired as a mercenary to assist in the protection of the Tribe as well as help train some of the warriors and braves. The Tuanka has so far been quiet in her duties but helpful.
- Ceryl is an adventurous shaman from Highmountain that heard of the Tribe within Thunderbluff as some Skyrunners ventured to Orgrimmar. She comes as a young healer to learn of the Tribe’s culture.

OOC Update
There’s not much to say OOCly at the moment. We are working along some great Storylines for character Prestige Classes and getting new members settled in.
IC Update
The hunt for the Elves continued right up to the point where the Tribe was at last ready to storm their base. During the confrontation three of their leaders became known to the Tribe but it was set up as a distraction to allow the rest of them to escape to a new base. The search for them and how to best stop them for good continues. In addition to the continual search for the rogue elves that devastated the Tribe a great deal more has happened that has actually put a halt to that search for the time being.
Settling debts with the Centaur that remained after the battle, the Tribe has agreed to a non-aggression pact between them and the current Clan Leader of the Magram. Thank’s to Jaeva’s compassion and desire for Healing the Clan Leader looked upon the Tribe with a measure of trust, no matter how small. The Agreement, while making both parties uncomfortable, affords the Tribe the chance to regrow without the threat of Centaur attacks. At least for now.
Lastly, a sickness, known as the Blackfeather Sickness, sprouted up among the tribe over the last month. Targeted by a former apprentice of Enyetof Stormstride’s that had become an Unholy Deathknight. She blamed the druid for abandoning her to death and so attacked his newfound family. The magical sickness touched everyone that entered Skyrunner Lands and put a stop to any other activities besides finding her and ending the source of the illness. Through this long period, Enyetof was able to become a Plagueshifter. Having taken his skills in Alchemy and his druidic knowledge as well as finding a new guide in a White Howl, Enyetof was able to cure most of the sickness within a matter of days with his newfound power after the death of his former apprentice.

- Mahala Farsinger has just returned not only from her Judgement of the Wyverns to become a Windwarrior but also her Right of Vision from traditional Tauren rites.
- Koza Steelheart has also taken her Judgement of the Wyverns to become a Windwarrior
- Enyetof Stormstrider has completed a mini Campaign to advance from a simple Druid to become a Plagueshifter
Arrivals- A troll Pathfinder known as Vul’mon has come to live with the tribe for now though his true purpose here is yet unknown. He has so far proven useful in acting as a forward Scout for the Tribe.
- A Goblin Mage/Engineer has also found their way to the Tribe. While a greedy and mooching little thing he has proven useful in the search for the elusive elves the Tribe is still tracking. Additionally, he seems to be the right person for a special project of the Chieftain’s.
- Teyshas Echosky has returned from their self imposed Exile from the Tribe. While born to the Tribe the pressures and pain of its devastation caused the young bull to lash out and leave the Skyrunners out of spite for Kanatu’s choices. He’s returned badly hurt from his experiences and greatly humbled.
- Dursk, an orcish trader and warrior, has made contact with the Tribe through Kireena. While usually, traders keep their distance Dursk has made a lasting impression on everyone through his actions during the Blackfeather Sickness. As a reward, he’s been set up with five Cargo Wyverns to aid him in swifter trade.
With the threat of the Blackfeather behind them, the Tribe now makes their way to Orgrimmar to settle some matters of a smaller scale.

Having a fun time in Orgirmmar for one of our member’s stories. So far it’s been a blast but soon the Tribe will return home again for some unfinished business. Until then the chance to resupply on more exotic goods, talk to new people, and get together with long unseen friends is a welcome one.

The tribe has finally finished their business in Orgimmar and is headed back to Skyrunner village for the feast of change. While in the city a Mag’har Orc, Shatterspear Troll, and Pandaren have decided to travel back with them.

After a few minor bumps along the way, the Tribe is taking some time in Mulgore to gather food and materials for the Feast of Change.
