For thousands of years The Duskwatch has maintained order within the ancient city of Suramar. Following Elisande’s ill-fated bargain and the invasion of the demonic Burning Legion, Ny’larissa Arthaine was placed in command of a division of The Duskwatch tasked with aiding the Horde in The Fourth War. Now that the War has ended Suramar finds itself in need of soldiers for the battles to come! As a result, The Duskwatch has begun recruiting once more. Seeing an opportunity to strengthen the bonds between Suramar and Quel’Thalas further, The Duskwatch has also opened its ranks to any Sin’dorei who would serve. Come and ensure the future of Suramar, Quel’Thalas, and The Horde as we fight for our place on Azeroth, and beyond!
The Duskwatch is a returning Nightborne themed RP/PVP/PVE Guild here on WRA. Our goal as a Guild is to maintain a fun and diverse RP community that partakes in other aspects of the game as well. If you are interested in a rich, lore friendly, Nightborne/Blood Elf focused Guild please consider giving us a try!
The Duskwatch is dedicated to upholding the justice and wisdom of Suramar beyond its walls. We seek to protect the innocent, hunt the corrupt, and enforce the will of the Nightborne wherever darkness lurks. Our vigilance spans the far reaches of Azeroth, ensuring that the light of justice never fades, no matter how far from home. We are the unseen protectors, the watchful eyes in the shadows, bringing balance and retribution to those who threaten peace and order.
Some commonly asked questions are:
“How long has the Guild been around?”
The Guild was founded in 2018 when Nightborne were added as a playable race! We have taken a few breaks between then and now due to IRL things but we have always managed to have a great community when active and we are excited to dip back in!
“Do you only accept Nightborne?”
While we are mainly Nightborne and based in Suramar, Blood Elves are allowed to join. We decided that given the very common ground the two civilizations share that it would be fitting No other races are allowed in order to preserve the theme of the Guild.
“Do you accept new players or beginner roleplayers?”
Yes! We are always happy to help guide new players or those new to RP. We never want anyone to feel left out and are all here to just have a good time.
"Do you accept in-character Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Warlocks from a lore perspective?”
All recruitment is done on a case by case basis to best assess whether or not your character will be a good fit for the theme of the Guild but yes, we do allow the “darker” classes to join. That being said, no openly sinister characters are accepted.
“Where are you all based out of?”
Suramar City as well as its surroundings serve as our primary location for meetings and casual RP. We also frequent Silvermoon, and various Blood Elf settlements.
“What are the Guild Ranks?”
The Guild uses an IC class-based ranking/promotion system. All members join the Guild at the Rank of Recruit and progress from there to a Rank fitting their class. Our Veteran Rank is Adjudicator while our Officer rank is Arc-Captain.
The Ranks are:
High Arcblade- Guild Leader
Arc-Captain- Officer Rank
Adjudicator- Veteran Rank
Battle-Magus- Mages
Blood Knight- Paladins
Warpriest- Priests
Duskblade- Rogues
Chaos-Mage- Warlock
Vanguard- Warriors/Monks/Death Knights/Demon Hunters

(More information on Guild Ranks can be found in our Discord upon joining.)
“How can I join?”
Please feel free to comment below with your in-game name! Alternatively, you can send an in-game mail to Nylarissa on Wyrmrest Accord, shoot me a message on Discord @shadowheart1477 or, look us up on Guild Finder to submit an application. From there we will set up a brief interview before scheduling an official induction into our ranks. The interview consists of a brief OOC questionnaire, as well as a short IC interaction in Suramar City. If you are a previous member please reach out and we can get the ball rolling ASAP!
Thanks so much for taking this time to learn about The Duskwatch! I am thoroughly excited for the times ahead. Hope to see you in Suramar!
