We are looking to add to our roster. OX is a hybrid guild that tries to keep a fun casual atmosphere while still having a serious progression raid team. Our guild was created early in the WotLK expansion and some of us have even been playing together since our server went live back in BC. We have an open door policy for anyone looking for a home yet strive to keep our raid unit a competitive one. In the last four expansions we have cleared nearly all raid content on both heroic and mythic modes while being among the top guilds on our server to finish each time (numerous realm first kills in MoP, WoD, Legion, and BFA). We look to continue with our momentum and strive to remain a solid raiding team going forward. We also welcome casual players, or people who enjoy playing other games together. Many of our members play LoL, SC2, Diablo, Fortnite, PUBG, Minecraft, etc. together as well.

BFA Recruitment!!!

We are currently opening up our raid recruitment to players interested in BFA Mythic raiding. We have a long history of successful raiding and have past experience organizing and leading 20-man Mythic content. If you are interested in progression raiding in BFA and seeing all of the content that it has to offer then you should definitely get in touch with us. We already have a solid core but with a new expansion dropping soon and people re-rolling there is a lot of wiggle room to add some new players to round out the team…as always the more the merrier when it comes to progressing deep into a raid tier.

Below is a list of our current progression, schedule, and raid team needs:

Raid Times (Subject to change):

Mythic
Group 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7:30-10:30pm (CST).

Optional Heroic Farm on Saturday @ 7:30pm (CST).

Just because we aren’t actively recruiting your class or spec does not mean that you should not apply as we are always looking for quality players/people. Our raid unit is a competitive one so if you outperform someone else in a specific role you can earn that raid spot. Our philosophy is that you can fix gear but not awareness/attitude so if you feel that you are a skilled and raid aware player but just lacking in the gear department I would still encourage you to apply. If you would like to see how you would compare to our current members the majority of our raids are logged and up on Warcraft Logs.

Updated the OP to current progression and needs after first week of raiding. Specifically looking for non-priest healers atm but all are welcome to apply.

Update: Normal cleared, a little more than halfway through Heroic, and the first Mythic boss is down. Currently open to all applicants but specifically looking for a Ret Pally or a DPS Death Knight.

Update: Downed a couple more heroic bosses this week, short week due to V-Day so not bad. Still looking for DK and a Retadin.

Update: Mythic Opulence down! Definitely took longer than we would have liked, especially with us taking time off for the new raid and people wanting to watch Endgame but we’re back on track. Come and be a part of it!

Updated the main post to reflect current recruitment needs. New raid seems pretty fun so far and with all the catch up mechanics that went live this patch now is a great time to join us if you are interested in getting into raiding. First 7 down on heroic, only 1 more to go then on to Mythics!

Update: Mythic Sivara down! It has begun, the long grind to kill Mythic Azhara. We are actively recruiting and you could be involved in the process not just a bench player. If you are interested in progression raiding, regardless of gear or experience you should reach out to us. We don’t mind helping people catch up.

Update: Mythic Radiance of Azshara and Mythic Blackwater Behemoth down! We took longer than we wanted to get to Mythics this tier but now that we are there we are rolling. We have room for a couple more people on the team though so you should definitely come and join us!

Well Classic hit us hard, just like many other raid guilds sadly, but we are finally back on track and running Mythics again. If you are a new player or just coming back to WoW or even a long time grinder then come and join us. We are looking for a couple more quality people to join the team and have some fun with us.

Update: Ny’alotha is out and we’re already making headway while giving a lot of new people some opportunities. We’re 8/12 Heroic so far and are looking to finish off Heroic next week and start Mythic shortly after. If you are interested now is a great time to join at the beginning of a new tier and there are plenty of ways to catch up on gear.
