Standing idly by is not a course of action anyone can take at this point of time if they worry about their self-preservation, their families survival… It is time to change and evolve into something greater than we one once were, and take flight into a future that is filled with the fires of passion and commitment to one another’s self-preservation as we cannot do this alone. This is where the Concourse of the Phoenix comes into light, to take flight.” - Centari Souli.
Concourse of the Phoenix is a Fresh, Neutral RP guild on Horde side that is ICly focused on starting the development and working through the hardships of creating a large Dimensional-ship capable of hosting a thousand (1014 to be exact) capable and driven humanoids who wish to make a new community and future for themselves; Starfleet is easy, right? OOCly the focus is to progress the timeline of the guild story; community recruitment, ship construction, and character personal development. Perhaps finding the right parts, the right people and sticking them together to create something bigger is a task every organization performs, but the real struggle comes from a change of culture and the adventures that will build this structure piece by piece. The destruction of old norms and the creation of a new culture takes precedence however; social behavior that would not just be wanted, but needed in the confined areas of a ship while surviving in the Great Beyond alone. With no one to help but the person next to you, Teamwork becomes the most fundamental building block even with a group of individuals.
We have four section assignments so far:
• Champions - Mercenaries and/or soldiers that organize military strategies, security, escorts, scouting/recon, and strike teams.
• Mystics - Those whose strength resides in the research and development of mystical items and spells; artifacts, reliquaries, and trinkets as well as lore, enchantments, and records. Restore items and ideas of the past to better navigate the present, and sail away into the future.
• Engineers - Tradesmen and crafters; those who are proficient in creation, transport, and theoretical invention.
• Civics - Works for the social engagement of the Concourse in regards to advertising, networking, information collection, social gatherings, and job/profession allocation.
We are currently suffering with a heavy need for two Administrators (officer positions) to lead the Champions and Engineers! I could try to do everything but the structure is made to maximize involvement as we do not want this to be a singular Head canon!
Concourse holds multiple events per week covering:
- Adventuring: DM20 Roll events that take on an approach more focused on what is written than the roll itself ( Though you can never beat the evil of a 1!).
- Puzzles that -need- to be solved in order to obtain certain items!
- Social gatherings that have interactive games or in-depth topic discussion
- Business Ventures with Allied guilds
- Crafting endeavors
- Strike Missions: doing Mythic Dungeons and working up to performing in the M+ system with IC training to enhance your OOC performance!
As a guild, Discord is mandatory for information and communication. We also highly suggest using the addon TRP3 Extended as we use it for projects, but that isn’t mandatory.
