H+ is a joke system

That’s a good thing, only person I’m inviting that’s around 4k GS is a tank. Anyone under 4k GS as a dps is getting removed instantly.

Go run Nax complainer. That raid is cake.

Victim mentality. Be more confident.

Thank the classic community for gatekeeping. They wanted ulduar ilvl higher and so is the gs requirement made by the community for simple h+.

Oh and thank them also for no rdf since normal hcs aint run.

Just buy off the AH and get started. True MMO exp.

I honestly thought that when the shine wore off, people would put normal Heroics on farm again. There was some valor items I still want, as well as some heirloom pieces. Instead it’s just gotten progressively worse.

I guess that I underestimated both the incompetence of Blizzard, AND the stupidity and laziness of the players base. Making H+ basically into another raid log for doing the daily has completely broken this phase.

Good luck in phase 3 when there aren’t any more tanks I guess lol. I’d say that it would be really interesting to see how much Blizzard manages to screw up the ToC 5 man as well, but my sub is up in 3 days and I won’t be re-upping.

To be fair, normal heroics were much the same in the original, something you did for your bonus daily.

BUT!

With RDF that came from a random dungeon, not a singular one so you could queue up and hope to get people from your or other realms trying to get their daily done as fast as possible.

Not to mention that heroism/valors would still be a worthwhile grind with normal heroics (how I loathe that term) but they’re just not worth the HC+ effort.

Never seen this problem on Bloodsail Bucs ally side.

Just a few days I tanked (4447) for a H+ run of a 3800 heals, 2 dps around 3200 and a dps at 2800 and ran into no problems.

Classic gatekeepers really need to get over themselves tbh

The only time I have ever booted a player after the joined us for a H+ was because he had a 3k GS and was a Blood DPS…
Also you could try getting a guild. We use H+ to gear up alts all the time.

regular heroics were more widely ran as they werent that big a deal for people with a moderate amount of gear to access. I made up a set of high 70’s crafted items on my wotlk hunter (not the pvp stuff) and that was plenty to not be a drag on the group and to run multiple heroics per day grinding rep and badges. Exactly what heroics were meant for.

H+ is not a suitable means of grinding rep and badges. People do not run h+ outside of the daily and people skip as much as they can fairly often reducing rep and badge gain to a bare trickle.

With the timing of the removal of the xp buff and the addition of H+, its almost like as if someone at the top decided it was time to cut off “new blood” into the game. Slog your way to 80 only to have a looooooooong painful unpleasant slog of gearing, and repping for profs/essential faction locked enchants

After RDF certainly.

Before it, eh, it was really mostly the daily.

It wasn’t impossible to find groups for heroics as it is now, but it still slowed down a lot at the end of each “phase”.

But yeah, I’m no fan of H+. Just remember that they claimed they’re gonna keep this system in place for each phase so by ICC we’ll be running H+++ for badges.

It’s not gatekeeping, anyone under 4k gs gets the boot. Don’t like it? Buy gear off the AH before you grief groups with your fresh lvl 80 trying to leech gear.

“It’s not gatekeeping, we’re just gatekeeping you.”

I know I’ve just woken up and caught up on reading the forums while drinking coffee, but I doubt I’ll read a dumber post today even if I’m sure Redheadchild will try.

i actually agree with this, and then once people no longer care about badges you will see less people doing them. That being said it also probably depends on the server you play on

Listen up, my friend, the thing about the M+ system and gear score is that it’s more of a player issue than a developer one. I know some folks might be all like “I don’t wanna take nobody under 4600 gear score” or “I don’t want no corn dog M+ system forced into classic”. But here’s the deal, the developers might’ve introduced the M+ system to help players gear up their alts quicker, and they might’ve included it in classic too, but it’s still up to the players whether they wanna use it or not, like if they wanna dunk their corn dogs in some milk or not.

The players get to decide if they wanna play with this feature, and they’re the ones who’ll determine if it’s successful or not. The developers can make all the changes they want, but if players don’t like it, then it ain’t gonna fly, you feel me? So, at the end of the day, it’s the players who are in control here, like if they wanna pour milk all over their corn dogs or not.

…Including yourself?

The thing is, heroic dungeons stayed attractive throught the entire expansion even without Titan Runes. We already seen wrath play out.

They completely missed the mark on their goals according to that news article. Are the emblems and items Titan Rune dungeons always valuable? The answer is no. Its a failure of a system according to their own goals.

You also have to ask, how is this system going to progress? What are the consequences to whatever that might be. Not to mention I havent really seen anyone run this for catch up and just for the 5 conquest. You hear more about people buying their catch up gear.

Here is the thing though, 5 conquest forces people into this feature if they want to stay with the rest of the pack. My server has halved pretty much and now its basically dead and trying to find groups to “catch up” is impossible since everyone wants those 5 conquest.

So even if I dont want to participate in this feature, I cant not participate in it or else I might as well quit. Which I havent logged on classic for a while.

Every server looks like it has dropped in population. Its probably a multitude of reasons but I would say the biggest impact is the forcing H+ onto the playerbase.

Yup, when the stupid bag from killing the last boss in your first heroic gives you more weekly badges than a full Ulduar clear you gotta do it to keep up.

Obvious bribe to make us do the content they spent time adding of course.

Kind of agree honestly

Hate to tell you this but I have seen groups break when you bring in someone under 4400. People have left raid groups over it.
