Idk about you but I wasn’t afk or near the gy. Took a rogue on 1v1. Power of heirloom gear :joy: Didn’t actually look the rogue up tbh.

It happened to me when I was new during pandaria, everyone with heirlooms and enough money to use the AH seemed overpowered, they all were twinks. I just made sure to enter low level pvp geared up after that instead of complaining on the forums like these people though.

What would you have to complain about, you hit end game did zero then chanted a low lvl to gank lvlers.

A twink warrior that was on the ally team in EotS yesterday had no heirlooms. Two epic swords, rest blues. The stats on his gear compared to my heirlooms were a stark comparison. I was surprised at the higher stats he ran with.

It’s all due to non heirloom gear able to stack gems. Take those out and the two will be comparable.

From what I seen, there were no gems slotted. Was in the 49 bracket. The one sword (was fury) that was equipped had a nerf, or is due for one.

Heirlooms are pretty much the same as BoEs and better than dungeon gear in 49s. Helm, chest and legs have the same amount of stats as BiS greens, shoulders and cloak lose 1 main stat and maybe 1 secondary. There are some blue BoE world drops, but those are usually only worth using if you ignore secondary stats, which is kinda questionable (especially for warriors that get so much strength from crusader procs).

29/39 you can get one stat point over heirlooms in most slots with BiS greens, dungeon drops will be the same or slightly worse.

The biggest reason overall that twinks don’t use heirlooms is because there are tons of items with the same amount of stats, where they can actually choose their secondaries.

The power gap in lower brackets mostly comes from stuff like weapon procs, trinkets, and not having empty gear slots - not stat differences over heirlooms.

…this game has changed, before premades you could go into a bg, do some scrapping, win some, lose some and have some fun…it’s not like that anymore…when the horde, yes I said horde, can go right through your team and push you into the gy within minutes, you can’t say, “better luck next time”…I was in a EOTS that ended in the GY and the final score was 30/1500…I don’t want to pay $$$$$ to blizzard anymore…

I soloqueued on my ally pally into eots and the final score was horde winning 1500-1428 and we had the flag running to cap.

People only remember the nasty games for some reason.

I also joined the brawl this week after it started and the alliance were down 13-20. I am sure I replaced a terrible alliance player because we came back and won 40-32.
