Compared to past exp packs. not really a lot of people I know that have never taken a break from the game have left. and more and more have been leaving as time goes on. queues have been getting longer at 120 each week that I have noticed as well

Yes they are. Heirloom gear will take the place of twinks. New players won’t have access to them so they will be wearing the white gear or will have to do quests/dungeons which will level them faster than Bgs anyway.

Well we’re really not sure how many people are complaining about twinks since some of them are alts and alts of alts with one post and it just so happens to be about twinks.
And can we drop the pretense of looking out for new players? It’s not about new players, it’s about their own experience. They don’t care if other players get stuck in long or endless queues but they are so concerned about new players?

Yup that’s still a gear disparity. Now add enchants and grems? X2 that power gap or close to it? Heirlooms would not be half the issue.
Aas I’ve pointed out as well. People don’t level op stuff for certain brackets so op classes in op gear are being stacked.

They would be an issue. Scale damage and disallow gems. All gear can be enchanted so it’s more the gems are an issue. That would be far better than removing players from the queue.
Exactly. How many times do we hear about them getting gy camped. Meanwhile I’m at once still at level 57

Yea some of them don’t. Zero of the twinks do though I guarantee you. I also promise you that’s all I care about. I haven’t leveled anyone 19-100 in a while. I care about max level stuff and the game is in slow decline as is. If twinks discourage just one new player from PvP or the game in general that’s too much cost for me.

You should try it. I’m actually having a good time with Bgs. Max level got a bit stale so this has been a nice break.
Naw… As you pointed out it’s an unbalanced mess. As I pointed out twinks make that even worse.
Im hoping season 2 participation picks back up. I’d rather some actual competition than stomping newbies.

Classes are more unbalanced than anything but that’s always been the case. Heirloom enchanted gear is fine for Bgs.

Are we not talking Bgs here anymore? I have gotten queues in all brackets relatively quick considering I play horde. 3 of them went to 20+ minutes. And max level alliance were 1-2 minutes
So levelers and new players are supposed to dump 100k per token per bracket?
You can send marks of honor between characters you know.
