I’m a gamer, I’ve heard about this game “World of Warcraft” for years.
I’m looking for something new to try, I don’t particularly like doing battle against AI, but have read that this game has an optional PvP mode.
So I download it to try it free for the first levels to see what it’s all about.
And I do BGs, and it is crap, and I delete it and look elsewhere.
I know this happens, obviously I don’t know how often this happens but the question it begs is; does Blizzard lose more revenue because of this than they would lose if all the twinks un-subbed?
In this scenario, they would probably leave after dying to an arcane mage shooting missiles. or a druid being the only class to be able to move almost as fast as a mount. Or a rogue killing you easy, or hunter. A new player is not going to like class balance at all. Or a player decked out in heirlooms enchanted, and gear they bought off the AH because they have gold.
Or not. They might realize that there is winners and losers in battle, but they at least have a chance and are not watching from the bleachers known as the GY.
If anybody is saying that there is only one problem caused by Blizzaed’s total neglect of everything other than current max level content for the last few years, they are crazy.
But each problem is worthy of attention, and none of them lessens the others.
