How is it confusing when the beginning of the intro experience it didn’t touch upon BFA or shadowlands it just talks about what is happening now. But if you have interacted with the other NPCs sure you would be somewhat confuse but since there is a time jump it doesn’t matter.
Probably because there is no context to what is happening, who NPCs are, are why they are talking to you like they have known you for years lol.

They actually call the player “adventurer” in the dragon isles not “champion” if you really have paid attention sure wrathion said champion and alexstraza but everyone else calls you an adventurer which is the majority of the island inhabitants. Even khadgar calls you adventurer in the azure span campaign.
No one cares about no name NPCs, all of the major story NPCs talk to you as if they have known you forever, and they have.

I didn’t agree to anything you said and to me to mistook my words as like facts because it is not facts. And also, they have explained everything and how everything came to be in the legacy videos. And in the summary page ingame that explains each of the campaign chapters.
