Guys who play as female characters? Got a question

I don’t think anyone cares if you play a different gender toon of your gender.

My bf prefers female toons cuz he says he likes the view better. Fine with me, as long as he’s not starting at real ones with me standing next to him :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

You have all been trolled.

Admittedly I could see why some couples may find it less than ideal if someone they like is playing toons they are attracted to, but it is their money and dumping someone over something like that is kind of a bad thing to do.

Girls are smarter let’s not forget that

Nope, but their generally more pleasant biology does mean that people in general will be much nicer to them and they will have all kinds of extra advantages in society. Its much easier to be more understanding, patient and respectful when people are already nicer to you just because you exist to begin with.

They did you a huge favor, sounds like a really low-value caliber of peeps.

No issues at all. But then, I’m not into silly, skimpy mogs either, which might attract unwanted attention.
(I switched from male troll in legion after they made it impossible to turn off the bouncy run animation.)

which might attract unwanted attention.

Nah, in the eyes of feminists you have a God-given right to walk into a dark alley in a bikini and expect to be left alone.

No. A human right to be left alone. To not have immature unethical scum assault another human being, because they cannot exercise personal responsibility.

The… way you phrased this feels like you don’t think they should be left alone…

I don’t know, I don’t care if guys play a female character. I didn’t think anyone did. I guess if you’re spending a lot of time at Goldshire Inn on an rp server it might get weird for them.

Look, this isn’t the world we live in, the world is a dangerous place, there will always be unethical immature scum infesting the streets, unless you want to live in Singapore or communist China, face it the streets just aren’t going to be safe, robbers will always exist as well as anti-social people that are roaming the streets looking for a fight.

It’s just the way the world is. To me, those unethical scum aren’t even ‘men’ that are low-life bogans and drunks, and you should take every reasonable measure to avoid them like the plague they are. I see nothing wrong with this position, it’s no different to locking your door at night, robbers shouldn’t exist but they do, thieves are out there, you don’t want to take any chances so you lock your door so nobody comes into your house to steal your computer and other valuable assets.

The… way you phrased this feels like you don’t think they should be left alone…

Robbers shouldn’t exist. But they do.

Drunks shouldn’t exist, but they do, and you would be wise to take every measure possible to avoid them, fact is nearly every time I go on public transport these days, especially at Christmas time there are people pumped full of alcohol they are dangerous, plain and simple. Unless you want to turn all of Western society in communist China or Singapore, this is the reality we have to deal with, we have to be street wise and smart when we go out at night, telling people that this is some feminist fairy tale that they have a God given human right to go out at night into dark alley and expect to not be attacked is stupid, everyone in western society should look out for their own safety to the best of their ability, I mean especially with how divided society is these days over politics and so on, these days if you have even have a right-wing opinion those Antifa thugs find out you have them, may God have mercy on your soul if you accidentally stumble into one of their protests.

I’m sorry, but this is just the reality…the world is a dangerous place.

Or Japan - a democracy, and country where it is generally still possible to walk alone at night, with a high degree of safety.

Japan is a special case, every anime cartoon I watch, I’m shocked at the amount of manners and politeness the characters have, I mean it doesn’t seem to matter how much of a jerk their boss is their response to everything is ‘yes ma’am’ ‘yes sir’ they have this manners drummed into them at an early age, in Western society we don’t have this, we have generations of people raised without manners or respect for strangers…

In Japan, most people know the importance of manners. That’s not the West, manners is a thing of the past in the West, just walk down the street and you can hear couples arguing in a house nearby with the f word shouted 10 times in every sentence as they yell at one another.

Japan might be a democracy, but they have a different culture to the West, a culture that involves manners.

Oh it wasn’t bad. Just felt weird to get blown a kiss from a guy. I now knew how she felt when she got a kiss from my girl toon.
We still had a blast playing together.

This isn’t limited to JUST guys playing female characters.

If you’re a female character and you dare to look sexy, obviously you’re a filthy ERPer and deserve to be bullied. Doesn’t matter if it makes sense IC or it’s justified by lore: obviously you’re just an ERPer.

Nevermind the notion that if you’re judged to be an ERPer you clearly can’t do normal RP either.

At least, according to boring people that you shouldn’t want to interact with in the first place.

I would say good riddance.

Because you wouldn’t DREAM of ogling a Fine looking hunk even when your boyfriend is next to you, right?

Yeeeeeah, I don’t judge dudes that play ladies by default (it’d be kinda hypocritical, since I play both genders myself!). I DO judge dudes that play ladies that go on to literally not wear pants and give themselves a ‘ohhh, she uses her LADY WILES to get what she WANTS’ backstory, though. Like … talk about a tired trope, man.

Kids play wow and so do immature adults.

You know what my wife and I like?

Badass characters. That’s all. That simple.

The other problem is that nerds like to think they ARE there character and can’t disassociate them from that idea, either. Guess they weren’t taught that games are games and not ACTUALLY how the living world will see you. So anyhow, not sure why you’d want to hang around a crowd like that anyhow, sounds like a buncha rednecks. :man_shrugging:

For clarification, I have 2 male characters and 2 female characters, and all of them are pretty much badasses.
