barely listen any music, just streams on second screen to fill the silence
Love Joe Jackson! You Canāt Get What You want and Real Men are great songs
And will you be decoding these numbers for the class today, Tovi?
At this very moment Iām listening to this: https://youtu.be/-_727Gt43xE
On the topic of music tho, have you ever went through classic WoW music before? Listened to Nagrand (outland) music and experienced how amazing it was? How the music draws you through the experience of walking out and seeing the place for the first time, or how the maps were designed to carefully draw you through tunnels or something, obscuring your view and start the music at perfect moments so when you walked out, the crescendo of the music came just as you saw it all? Have you ever listened to how the nagrand music describes the area visually, like something tragic, but beautiful? I wish that current wow music would do what the older music did and draw you in within the first 10 seconds of the track, where you could close your eyes and experience it visually. Just something random on my mind.
LOL sure
41 - Late 90s, early 2000s rock. Lots of Tool, Linkin Park (barf), Metallica, Seether, etc. on this channel.
37 - is the current version of channel 41.
36 - is the new alternative but it is nothing like the 90ās alt. Some of it is weird and terrible but some is pretty good.
34 - 90ās grunge
Anyway, for my own listening, I have a playlist that I just dumped all of the songs I have that I think are at least āpretty goodā into. No regard for genre or anything. Basically I just wanted to cut out the fluff so I could leave it on shuffle and be okay not skipping the song every 3rd song.
Hitting the ānextā button a few times spat out these:
(Iām gonna timestamp to choruses or strong bits or something because no one wants to listen to a bunch of intros to see if a song is any good or not)
These guys are vaguely āfolk rockā, but the album this song is from tends to be a bit less folky than some of their previous stuff.
This one is probably going to stand out the most. Mili is great, but it doesnāt all sound this, uh, fluffy?
Love their stuff. Singer on the first 2 albums is Caxx if youāre familiar. Donāt care for the EPs.
I used to listen to -nothing- but SOAD for like 3 years straight when I was younger.
This is literally the only song I have from these guys. I just like how the end has so much going on.
Viza is a really interesting band to dig into. This is from the first album with what I would consider to be āgoodā production quality, but honestly, if you like it, look into all of their stuff.
Not much to say. I like this album. I found them and āThe Creepshowā at about the same time. Kitty is a bit more poppy than them, but similar-ish. The video for āLurking in the Darkā frustrates me though. They straight up lifted someone elseās art for some of it. Traced.
Eluveitie. One of my favorite bands, gotta be in the mood though. Folk Metal. Very harsh vocals from the guy, which I understand can be a turn off for some people. This is one of the only bands with his style of vocals that I actually enjoy.
Iāll stop there because Iāll just keep going for too long if I donāt. Even though I feel bad for leaving out a few bands I listen to a ton.
ā___, what the #%^# are you doing?ā
āI just got shot at. Field. Behind that tree. ____ head around.ā
/laughing
āHeās on the roof! God damn it, ___. #$%#$%#&&&%ā
/random chatter that i stop hearing after a while
Oh. I thought you were asking what I hear when Iām trying to play. Kinda qualifies as a playlist when its usually the same type of banter right? @_@
For some reason Iām really into Weird Al right now.
Dr Steel is always good. Rather glad he got a small boost in new fans because people would use some of his music for FNAF videos.
Found this old jewel of a game ost, makes me want to use my boost on a rogue.
One Winged Angel is great and all but damn this version just instantly makes me feel like a little kid again and that āOhhhhh crap not youā¦ā feeling when I got to fight him in the first Kingdom Hearts. I wasnāt expecting him at all lol
Just for you OP.
I also have a load of video game related music rather than something by āregularā musicians.
I know Fnaf can be cringe as heck but thereās some talented folks making music related to it
Same goes for stuff like MLP and Undertale.
Back when I played Overwatch I listened to A LOT of SharaX in games. It kept me hyper focused as I was playing Mercy and keeping an eye out for danger.
I sadly donāt have a playlist as most of my music is on a laptop and I have been too lazy to transfer it to this cheap desktop I bought off a computer nerd.
So I have been listening to a lot of music via the YouTube ā which is annoying because they added this āfeatureā to ask if you are still listening after a period of time because they think you might have fallen asleep or died.
So I have been listening to these bands which sound nothing alike:
Tool
Frankie Teardrop Dead
The Kundalini Genie
The Black Angels
Soundgarden
and lots of 90s alternative playlists because I miss the 90s. Well, not really but sometimes. Nevermind.
This song always just instantly puts me back to the 90s in my head.
it would take FAR too long for me to relate my playlist of 899 bookmarked songs however hereās probably the most diverse selection I could pick:
just a small limited selection of my song archivesā total sum.
