Yeah this was likely not going to happen for the simple fact that “Choices” in Blizzard games are usually reserved for for no named/less important people(think the choice given to that night elf Primalist being buried or not)
However, to indulge this little scenario, if you wanted something like this it would have been better to do with Ner’zhul for no other reason that he had a bigger connection to the Lich King and he seems like the kind of guy that possibly could have gotten a redemption(I have the tiniest of soft spots for him for no other reason than being the meta first shaman of Warcraft)
