Honestly, I may have put up with the other things I hate if they would have left my flight alone, lol. I do miss my guild, my friends, my laser kitty, & my werebear!

I spent so much time getting Ashes of Alar, Invincible, & SO many more rare FLYING mounts, that watching them drag along on the ground for half every expansion just made me angry every time I logged in.

ā€œWhat are we without the skiesā€???

Druid in birdie form ?

I did both season 3, HoT campaign and PoF. As vanilla as the og zhaitan story was i think i preferred it even if they did that dragon a major disservice and the personal story went to trash after like level 30.
These weird multi layered lore spins were annoying season 2 onward.
Some pros, some negatives honestly. Taimi is my favorite character un the new crew but the rest can go to hell.

Let me add that taimi is my favorite from the new group. Shes a little OP but i felt bad when she said she was terminal. I don’t know what happened since.

Haven’t done the latest Living World story but her VA is confirmed to be part of End of Dragons so i imagine they find a solution.

Personally i like Rytlock and Marjory the most but they all have their moments.

My main being a Charr i do like the kind of ā€œpaternalā€ relationship he has with Taimi, its a cute dynamic.

The precursor crafting grind always made me feel like I had to log in to do chores.

Yeah 5 mins to click on a couple crafting buttons, not quite the same as WoW.

No, it was farming all the rare materials to craft it.

When the game first started they had these crazy flash zones where it would come under attack and so many ppl would go to the zone to defend it and kill the monsters.

Then they had an event where the boss lady attacked the biggest city and it was so crazy and fun.

Now they don’t do things as big as that, but they do smaller scale things. I guess its too hard to design good stuff.

The problem with that game is when I log in, I’m not sure what to do. So I’ll run around for 30 minutes then log off.

About 6 or so years ago, I quit WoW for GW2 and played it for about a year before returning to WoW. I liked the game. I just got bored with it. I’ll have to give it another try.

Not something really tied to dalies. And considering legendaries don’t even give a power increase its kind of moot anyway. Would be like complaining you have to log on WoW to do mog runs.

I ever only crafted one weapon (Gen 1 Rifle) and it didn’t block me from doing anything.

LOL, you’re judging my personal and subjective experience of the game. It felt like a grind and the precursor was just one example. I wanted the legendary look, but the grind to create the precursor was insane and if I wanted to finish it in a reasonable amount if time, I HAD to log in every day to collect everything I could for the day. ā€œEnd Gameā€ consisted of a grind for cosmetics, so I got bored.

I’m not judging anything, just pointing out that power grinds and cosmetic grinds are different things.

If you put pressure on yourself to rush something like that, its not the game’s fault.

I would have to say that GW2 has 2 glaring issues

  1. a very poor end-game.
  2. visual noise unlike anything you can imagine. So many graphics are hitting the ground when you are fighting in a group that its impossible to tell what is boon from a friend or a condition from a foe. It really ruins group fighting for me.

When you get to the GW2 end game in each patch and expansion, everyone is essentially at the same power level (or was, when I left in 2017), so the only options left ARE cosmetic grinds. Making the precursor crafting take 6 months at a miminum IS the fault of the game. So I felt that if I didn’t want it to take 9 months, I HAD to log in every single day, because there was nothing left to do at end game.

This is the point I knew this was a troll post. GW2 combat is why I quit playing. Combo system touted at launch is half baked at best but would have elevated it to what it should have been. It’s fine for their WPVP system but nothing but a nuke fest for everything else. Boring AF.
