Guild thing

Hi,

I’ve been the only active player in my guild for about 3 or more expansions.
GM hasn’t been on for 4 years.
1 officer logged in over 6 months ago when the latest expansion hit to see how dead things were.
I’m not of a level to dethrone the GM using in game auto options.
I can’t see how to open a ticket to request I am promoted to guild master?
I could leave but Printemps feels deeply connected to the guild name now as it has been part of their identity almost since starting Wow back in Wrath.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

If you are not of a level to dethrone, then there is nothing to be done. Blizzard designed the system so that Guildmasters can have control over their guild structure.

that makes me sad :frowning: I don’t think the guild master would have even logged in since these auto dethroning options were put in place

Unfortuntely sounds like its time to move on to more active guilds it sucks but the system is desingned this way thanks to player feedback.

If you have any way to connect to the current guild master or officer that can promote? They can of course log in and bump you to a rank that can dethrone. That would be an option, depending on whether you have some way to contact either.

These have been in place much longer than the four years since your GM last logged in.

Regardless, there’s nothing Blizzard will do here. You’re not of sufficient rank to dethrone the GM. That’s it.

To build on this, Blizz may also grant a day of game time to the guild master specifically for this.

Unless things have changed again I believe they no longer do this, but they can submit a ticket via the webpage.

I’m not sure they will do this anymore.

However, I would never discourage anyone from attempting this. If the GM is reachable and willing, then absolutely try.
