Hi all, happy holidays! I had a question that I’m hoping any of you regulars can answer.
I have my own alt guild and once upon a time, I had a friend who joined it on most of their alts. Fast forward to now, we no longer speak and their alts arent in it but I see in the Applicant History that some of their alts still have an “Approved” application to it.
Does that invite ever expire/can they join my alt guild? We didn’t part on the best of terms and I guess I’m afraid of them possibly doing something out of malice.
Unfortunately I don’t know this, but I think that the rank characters are automatically assigned upon joining the guild is too low to dethrone. I would however suggest maybe locking down permissions from the lower ranks to stop a logged-in alt from doing damage? If all the other characters in are yours I don’t see why you can’t promote all of your own toons to high ranks.
Yea I did that. I have all my alts at the rank below me and put like 4 ranks below cause I’ve read about people getting dethroned. It’s a highly unlikely scenario but I’m trying to play it safe.
I’m just asking so I can put my mind at ease, if possible.
I don’t know either, Tashiae, but Anzath’s recommendation is spot on.
New invites have to be manually elevated in level, so if the guild permissions restrict what they can do, and you don’t elevate them to a level that can dethrone, you should be ok.
