Yesterday my guildmate was randomly banned from SOD for 10 days. The ban said that he was reported for “chat abuse” but nothing he had typed could have warranted that type of ban so we assume he was mass reported and auto banned by some salty player.
An appeal ticket was submitted but over 24 hours have passed with no response so I figured I’d try the forums to get past Blizzards abysmal customer support.
Any help would be appreciated. In the event that the ban was deserved, wouldn’t it make more sense to chat mute a player who is violating chat rules instead of banning them for 1/3 of their subscription?
