We’ve got a small(ish) community (4x raid teams) but they are all on Horde, and I’ve been trying since 9.1 launch to start our Alliance guild on Stormrage. We historically had a couple of teams there and when I went back to play ally I figured I’d simply stay where we were.
Sadly, it has been quite a hard time to recruit and we’ve debated about migrating to a different realm.
The two choices are “Proudmoore” and “Sargeras” Proudmoore has a great history, and they do the cool Pride march across Azeroth which would be fun to be a part of, but other than that I don’t know much more about the server.
Sargeras has the numbers and if we are going to move the guild, I’d think we’d want to try and move where recruiting is much easier.

Honestly, a lot of my Alliance friends actually moved to Stormrage because they felt it was easier to do raiding over there (at least mythic). Alliance side is generally just harder to recruit for, and many of the teams that are successful are already established.
If you are doing Normal or Heroic content, my best advice is to not worry so much about trade chat spam, and instead host some open runs and use the LFG tool to bring in PuGs. You can start building your team roster that way, and still have everyone connected through Discord. When you have a steady enough group of people that enjoy playing together, then you can look at centralizing and picking a server.
Yeah bud, this is exactly how we’ve built in the past. I was just looking for a bigger base to work from. I know from Experience it’s fairly easy to recruit on Horde side, but you could have a point. (Our focus is AOTC for this team - some Mythic).
