Guild Deleted?

Just to have this at the top, people are already telling me that Guilds are deleted after being inactive for 6 months and that someone else in the guild at officer rank can recover the guild. My problem is that this guild was purely for my alts and I don’t think there was anyone else in it. If there is I have no way to contact them.

The guild was basically just for all my alts and to keep materials between them. It has all the low level mats, food, and potions that I’ve accumulated over the years and is very important to me. It’s only been since the beginning of this xpac that I’ve played, its not like I’ve been AFK for years or anything.

I really just want my alt guild back. It has a lot of things that are important to me. Is there any way to still recover it?

Just to be clear, we do not delete guilds. Guilds are never deleted simply because they are inactive.

There is a dethrone option if the guild leader is inactive for 90 days. It sounds like maybe the guild was dethroned, and the new guild leader may have disbanded it.

Those people would be very much misinformed. Blizz doesn’t ever “delete” guilds.

It sounds like there was someone else in the guild and that after being inactive for 90 days, the other player was given the option (if they were rank 3 or higher) to dethrone you. That’s how the system currently works.

If the other player is currently in control of the guild, there’s really not much that Blizz can do unfortunately.

Could it also be possible that the new leader simply kicked everyone else out of the guild and changed the name?

Yes. It can. I don’t have the guild name, so I can only guess.
