Guild Bank Missing Items Bug -- Aug/Sept 2024

Troll or no, they are correct that the only answer to this issue is to stop giving Blizz money…if you paid for the year sub or bought the store dino, you have no place to complain imo.

Those two things more than cover the people complaining about lost items…

A lot of those complaining HAVE stopped giving Blizzard money. The unfortunate fact is that those affected the most by the Guild Vault bug are those who are long term players who more than likely pay 6 or 12 month subscriptions - meaning that even if they cancel their subscription, it won’t have an effect until that sub runs out.

Personally, I’m very annoyed about it, and my trust in Blizzard has gone, but I’m not going to stop playing. Even if I did, my sub doesn’t run out until Jan 2025 currently, so they wouldn’t notice :stuck_out_tongue:

However, what I have stopped doing, is buying stuff in the shop. Back before this debacle, I would have bought pets, mounts and the charity stuff - I would have even occasionally bought plushies etc from the store. But that’s not happening anymore.

*Edit … and yes, I have the store dino - but I didn’t buy it. It was a gift from my guild members.

Yep and another player had something like 35 or 45 BoE bags returned and all of them now are soulbound to his one character…

I’ll agree with that. Broken clock, yada yada. I’ve got a couple tokens left, but then I’m out. I bought the most expensive version of the xpac before the bug, and I’ve spent more time on the bug report forum than I have playing the game itself :// if people want blizzard to actually do something about it, they gotta stop buying things. Me cancelling my sub means nothing if people go buy the $120aud mount or the $200aud sub. If blizzard can make such a giant f up like this, and people keep paying them, it sets precedent. And the next time, when it’s characters getting deleted or entire accounts going missing, they’ll get away with it again.

Yes, and why the store was always a bad idea…they can ignore the main games problems with a goofy mount in the store.

M$ is going to wring this IP dry…

I’ve seen reports of titles, gold, pets, mounts, reputations just going poof - and gone/missing/reset… So honestly count on nothing in this game being safe and never count on Microblizz to do the right thing.

You really summed up why they are here… To be trolls.
They can’t help themselves and when they don’t get enough attention to feed their HPD they come here to help feed it.

I have no idea what they said (nor care to be honest) … all I can tell you is they are on perma-forum vacation from my view and my overall forum experience has improved greatly.

In my opinion, even $15 is too much to pay to a company that sweeps this serious issue into the closet (this thread).

A total lack of respect to the players.

Maybe you missed it, its in the first post.

If an election does not go your way, do you stop paying taxes and leave the country, jus wondering.

It’s one thing if you have a differing opinion and genuine arguments, it’s another thing to just belittle people and be pointlessly unsympathetic and rude. These trolls get their jollies from being contrarian, and it’s very telling when someone sticks around in such an enormous thread just to keep being all “nuh uh!!!” every time someone presents them with a valid point. Embarrassing behavior.

If it weren’t so pathetic and sad, I’d almost be amused that guild banks are STILL broken.

I get the feeling Blizzard will never make good on this is any satisfactory way.

I urge any that have not done so to cancel their subs, as continuing to pay them only supports their deviant behavior.

This is an obvious stab at the people in this forum and those negatively impacted by this bug, and it’s not subtle. Quite frankly, I find it disgusting that they’d resort to this sort of mockery, especially considering how it had been handled, and how they had treated their customers affected by it.

Totally agree.
This kind of behavior comes from people who are unhappy with themselves, their choices, their life situations, and just life itself.
They would never admit to it, but deep inside themselves, buried deep from years of denial, they lash out in attempts to drag people down with them…It makes them feel better about themselves somehow.

Wow this is nuts. I made a ticket when issue originally happened, they said hold tight might be awhile. I made another ticket today trying to see if there were any updates and essentially got told all restorations were made that they were going to do. Gave me a link to this thread i guess so i could come here and see everyone elses complaints.

Just stop, no one is mocking you. If you really find it that disgusting why are you still engaging with this product?

My PvP honor level randomly shrunk by like 60% at some point in late July (was around the last days/just before August). For those that don’t know; that’s supposed to be impossible. The number only ever “goes up” - never down

Reputations are also never supposed to “go down”, so if you previously earned Exalted you’re supposed to “stay” Exalted forever going forward. This ongoing bug where you log in one day and reputation X is suddenly “Neutral” () didn’t exist in Dragonflight

And the 1 thing all these various weird bugs/glitches have in common?? They only started after the 11.0 prepatch went live in July 2024…

It’s like, it’s sooooo obvious these various bugs/glitches are directly tied to the rollout of TWW. The legacy game code and the new TWW-specific coding/features clearly didn’t “mix” well - with devastating side effects for players who happened to get hit with one of these new bugs

I didn’t ask for your trite critique, and what I do isn’t your concern, but I still have paid time until the end of this year.

Whether or not if you asked no one is mocking you. Like I said, you keep engaging with the product you really dont care that much.

Glad you updated that this was just a visual bug in your thread. Was about to go on a boe check until I saw it.
