Restorations appear to be completed. Even if they weren’t, GMs wouldn’t be able to help here
I still have not recieved any on my Guild bank items or gold back All of my guild bank tabs and gold show empty for all guild members Please Restore my Items or compensate me in some way for my 9 tabs full of items and over 250k in gold
Logged in after “maintenance” today to find that my guild bank for battle pets is only showing generic pet cages and the mouse over doesn’t say what pet it is. Shows up fine in the war bank, personal bank and character bags, but they’ve screwed up my guild bank again. If I had any desire to resub, this would have killed it.

Two guilds, 14 tabs, things gathered for a decade.
Still here
Still waiting

From what I am being told is that the problem that caused our stuff to go missing was fixed, but our missing stuff is “oh well”.
That is some quality service right there.
Yes, this would be the thread that lays that out. The blue post up top explains the situation
I was under the impression that they would be restoring some of the stuff or at the very least communicating with the people whose stuff was completely lost.
Hold onto your vaults guys … More weird stuff happening …
They restored what they recovered, which was some guilds getting a partial recovery. My interpretation is that they recovered only bits and pieces and not full logs for any guild, which seems to have been the case unfortunately
I think the problem was that their message was open to intepretation. They left it deliberately vague so that people could read into it what they wanted.
If you read what they actually SAY … they essentially say nothing specific. Other than … some people might get something. At some point.
I think the majority of people affected got nothing. No returned items, and no communications.
The lack of communication is the most annoying part. Sure I was rather annoyed at one of my banks being wiped clean and another being partially clear out, but a note saying “sorry, we tried, but your stuff is gone” would have gone a long way.
That’s the original post of the thread
okay but they have to say it just right or it doesn’t count
In addition to the battle pet issue linked above, there’s also a similar thread in EU where someone states they removed one of the cages to their bags and it disappeared. And someone else saying that something has gone missing from their vault within the last week …
What a surprise.
Suppose I’ll go from barely logging in to not at all again for a while.
I tested this and it’s just a display issue. I can withdraw and deposit the pets just fine, they just don’t show properly in the guild bank. That doesn’t excuse it of course.
You can read the OP post a hundred times.
You won’t get anything back. They won’t apologize. It wasn’t their fault. It was a “bug”.
We cumulatively lost millions and billions of in-game items. The value is incalculable. The amount of time players spent farming these “deleted” items can only be expressed in terms of thousands of years. That’s not an exaggeration and you, and the developers, should think about that…
Blizzard cares not. They now have profits from a $90 ground-only mount, more than the TWW expansion.
Those profits might have already compensated from everyone who cancelled because of the guild bank deleted items. We seem to be a minority. Massive amounts of players don’t even know about this incompetent data loss. This is Blizzard’s PR goal.
Not enough guild banks had their items deleted for enough community outrage to matter. Not enough PLAYERS were affected or know about the data loss.
Blizzard ALREADY banked on this. Their game TOS ensures you own nothing. You’re job is to ignore any negative news about Blizzard, and to BUY BUY BUY everything…
I could care nothing about this.
I simply want my tens of thousands of items, I spent 19 years collecting… restored.
7 guild bank tabs… are empty.
Blizzard… I strongly feel that you do not care about me.
