It’s entirely possible these are just would-be bears going cat for fights where they aren’t needed, but based on what I’ve seen, Feral cat DPS is just not very good.

Sorry, but I judge specs based on the data. If Cat proves to be a decent DPS spec, I’ll consider it one.

There’s no data to support that claim, though, and thinking that in 3 weeks Feral is suddenly going to start doing the same DPS as Fury Warriors is stupid. Nothing becomes available in 3 weeks that wasn’t already available now, and it’s very likely that, of the hundreds of Feral DPS druids recorded, at least a few of them know how to play it properly.

No. 3% crit doesn’t even come close to making up the DPS loss.

I already said it was worse. The question is to what degree and you don’t know the answer.

Feral Druid is about 60%, on average, of a Fury Warrior’s DPS.

If it’s worse who cares how much worse?

If it were only 5-10% worse, no one would care. That margin of error would easily allow for a Feral to be your top DPS consistently in raids.
