Guild Application

Hello, I am a Guild Master and I had an applicant for my guild that I accepted before realizing that the name was very racist. I don’t know if that person can still accept that invite when he logs onto his toon or not but if he happens to log on and accept it while I’m offline, it could cause a lot of outrage in the guild and cause people to leave.

Is there a way to revoke the invite? If not, there should be an option.

I think you would have to wait until they accept? (Folks, please correct me if I’m wrong.) Then just boot them once they do. It’s not ideal, but it’s easy enough.

But if you want to propose change, you should direct that suggestion to the GD forum or through the in-game suggestions and feedback interface. Unfortunately the only staff we have here are our SFAs, and you need to be seen by the Devs and such.

As far as I remember (and someone please correct me if I am wrong) there is no way to revoke an invite. What I would suggest is if you have guild officers, make them aware of the situation and instruct them to remove the player if/when the player logs in if you are not online.

Couldn’t hurt to let the guild know either just be like “Hey all, accidentally accepted someone with an inappropriate name. I can’t take back the invitation but if they join I’ll remove them ASAP.”

You can also if you remember the name of the person you could report the name. Then possibly it might get changed before they do accept.
