Guild achievements still not working - needs fix before prepatch

This affects all achievements, but most problematic is that it prevents guilds from obtaining classy achievements which will reset in 4-5 weeks with prepatch, nullifying an expansion’s worth of work.

To ensure it is not just a tracking issue, I completed all criteria for for “A Class Act” and it still did not trigger the achievement.

Would love to see a blizz response about this, please. Its closing in on 2 months that these have been broken and silence.

I agree. I would love if Blizzard could fix this. I have really been wanting to grind out achievements for my guild for a long time now.

I should have had several achievements completed, but going into prepatch I’m worried all of the progress will reset.
Guild Rivals & Classy Pandaren/Dwarf/Gnome mainly

Also feels terrible that all of the quests I’ve been doing in remix just don’t count, and I doubt that they’re secretly counting and its just a visual error… Same with disenchanting. (not to mention that mining/herb haven’t worked since Oct…)

I knew S4 would be slow for me so I figured it would be a great time to pound out some of these guild achievements. Kicking myself for that decision now.

This is still not working after today’s maintenance. As an addition, if it is useful in any way, if a guild achievement is tracked and you click on it from the tracked achievements, it opens up the account-based achievement summary pane and does not link directly to the guild achievement like the account-based achievements do.

None of the profession achievements count progress.

None of the race/class achievements recognize you have a character that fulfills the requirements.

Critter Kill Squad does not count progress.

None of the Complete X number of Quests/Daily Quests achievements count progress.

Kind of wild that so many of these flat do not work and get 0 resolution.

This is still the case of guild-wide achieves not tracking, progressing, or completing. Not only “stay classy” but dungeons/instances, professions, and reputations as well.

Still with another weekly reset and further progression - NO change. In retail or remix for “Stay classy.” Also, critter kill squad, professions and reputations. Any fix or communication on said issues would be great.

Speculation that 10.2.7 is some sort of pre-pre patch; no idea what’s going on.

I think they just updated the support article because 10.2.7 was not a pre-patch and usually the reason for the problem is due to resetting with pre-patch. So in this case, the standard support article was no longer accurate. I don’t think they are implying it’s a prepatch, but that’s just what I interpreted from it.

I understand some bugs take a long time to fix and are not always prioritized, but it would be nice if they will give some lenience with these resetting going into pre-patch given that they have been broken for two months now. Or hopefully they will be able to see the criteria completed before a certain date on the backend.

Just received a ticket response. Told me the problem is “during a prepatch, the max level is increased, but cannot be obtained until the release of TWW expansion.”

We’re not in a pre-patch, to my knowledge. I obtained max level last week on my Dracthyr that is honored with the guild. Didn’t receive credit.

Based on past history with these guild achievements, the statement that 10.2.7 is a “pre-patch” is 100% misleading. The fact that every single guild achievement is failing to earn progress since the patch also lends credence to the fact that they are all bugged.

It’d be great if a CC member had made a thread by now to try to draw attention. At this rate with less than 2 weeks to go, I don’t see it being fixed in time and everyone is going to be screwed.

Exactly. Pre-patch character level doesn’t affect things like Critter Kill Squad and the profession quests and those don’t work, either.

Bump.

I’ve finally been getting around to leveling my retail characters and after hitting 70 I’m not getting credit in the guild Classy achievement.

This why we’ve brought attention to it. It’s not only remix but even in retail. Sadly, I’m sure “working as intended” will be the scapegoat answer for it being bugged for quite sometime. I hit 70 on 4/26/24 in my current retail guild, and it was progressing as normal. Dark Heart (10.2.7) was released on May 7th and possibly bugged since then, or some stealth level increase threshold for these achieves without making it obvious.

One expects this in the prepatch NOT the final patch.

We’ve noticed other activities not progressing as well, professions repairs, critter kill squad, and reputations for the United Nations, amongst others not mentioned/noticed.

One of my guildmates and close friends is a partnered streamer and I asked her to pass along this concern through their special channels. She said she has, so that’s about all I can personally do to help draw any attention.

My guild is dealing with this and would like it fixed ASAP.

I was really hoping to finish up a few Classy achievements for my guild during this last patch, but Blizzard’s apathy has ruined it. Not even sure I’ll bother in the next xpac. Who knows when all of my work will suddenly count for nothing because of an error they cause and then ignore.

They somehow manage to break season 4 upgrading twice and commit to fixing it right away each time, but can’t be bothered to look at this issue. Sigh.

Maybe if wowhead made an article about it, we’d have more luck. I’ve posted about this before, but I was one or two characters away from finishing the A Class Act achievement for both of my guilds (of just me and my alts) when Dragonflight pre-patch hit. At the time, I didn’t know they would be reset before the expansion launched. Now I’ve been leveling them slowly over the past two years, adding two evokers, knowing I had a summer deadline. They are all done, just waiting for them to count. It will be sad if all my progress is lost again. Not nearly as bad as those working on the bigger stay classy achievements, but for me it is quite annoying and not something I will intentionally work towards in the future.
