Guild Achievement Spam

Does someone have a fix to block this guild achievement spam? It happens 50-100 times per day, I can’t take it anymore! I’m not talking about the chat, I’m talking about the frame and sound that pops up along with it. It happens all the time! Worst is when I’m in a dungeon or raid trying to focus and it distracts me. I seriously can not put up with it anymore.

I’ve tried the addon “Guild Achievement Manager” but that only blocks the chat, not the frame and sound. I’ve tried “SuppressGuildAchievements” Addon but it seems bugged, it doesn’t work correctly or block anything.

It happens with Classic battles, dungeon diplomat, united nations, and a couple other achievements. Seriously, I am thinking about G-Quitting because it’s becoming so annoying.

Pretty sure theres a option in the settings for guild announcements.

If you’re talking about the setting that only turns off the chat announcement, that’s not what I’m talking about. I couldn’t care less about the chat, I want the frame and sound to stop. It’s the same achievements being spammed over and over and over again.

My guild has had this same problem for a long while. We get 3-4 achieves that spam basically anytime someone logs in or does content that gives rep

Thanks that at least is comforting knowing it’s being looked at. I really hope they fix this.

I can’t help with the sounds, but you can move it with xanAchievementMover.

You can move it mostly off screen, to the top left corner. You’ll never see it again. Don’t push it too far, you may lose the ability to move it back. And don’t forget that you have moved it when they fix it, because it’s the anchor for all achievement related alerts.

Nice appreciate the help. Used “xanAchievementMover” to get the frame into a more unintrusive spot. I found an addon titled “MuteSoundFile” and muted sound id 569143 . Haven’t tested it yet, but today the constant spamming of sound and frame was giving me a migraine. I’ll update here to let ya’ll know if it works.

-update: “MuteSoundFile” worked! it blocked the sound. thank god.
