This change makes it more likely I will do LFR. I’m 391. Did it today for tier gloves.
I will also be more likely to run alts, and my raid experience will bring value.
So raiders WILL still do LFR

Make an alt that’s an LFR toon in your armor/class type. BAM.
It was a bug, and Blizzard proved we’re right.
The system checks your loot history to some extent. I’ve vendored items and been unable to roll for items.
Only way around it is to have two of the same class.
You realize this change means in order to farm LFR transmog we have to roll a scrub character with no gear and delete every upgrade we get just to remain eligible for the LFR transmog.
Seems incredibly toxic.
Lol, simple. Just make an alt of the exact same class and level it, gear it to LFR standards and do this for every class you play. This is surely a better solution than Blizzard changing LFR back to PL.
its attitudes like that, that prevents more blue posts…
That’s what I’ve said, if you acquire higher difficulty versions of the gear it should give you the lower tier recolors as well.
An alternative solution to getting LFR transmog is NEEDED. These changes essentially disqualify people who do content even 1 level higher than LFR from getting loot. You’re essentially locking out an entire population of people who want these appearances.
This is not the way.
That’s a good solution, but can you guys bring back bonus rolls? I think it help alleviate the pressure from group loot and provide a better way of obtaining gear for your contribution.
Nothing is more frustrating than getting an entire raid done without seeing any upgrades. At least with BR, you have an added chance.
I don’t understand the problem with what I said. Blizzard shouldn’t lie (in the most literal sense of the word) about systems they are adding to the game in order to assuage the worries of people who pointed out that the system could lead to toxicity and other problems. Only to then add the system with every issue that people worried about with none of the promised solutions to those issues, only adding those safeguards (that they said would already exist in the initial implementation of the system) after mass backlash to that system due to the inherent problems with the system.
Yes. Heck my alt is a TWIN to this one - both over 390, doesn’t seem that hard?
Alt:
If people had any sense of honor, you would only NEED for upgrade and GREED for transmog. But, they don’t, and have to roll need on every single thing, upgrade or not. This is why I don’t like group loot in a pug setting. Just too many greedy people that have no conscience.
That’s fine. Bring my Personal Loot, and guess what? People can still farm transmog that way.
Not sure what you’re getting at here. PL completely promoted transmog hunting and such. People acting like the problem here is GL vs. PL. It’s not. They’re fundamentally the same thing. People just don’t understand the concept.
The not able to roll for more than 1 item in a single roll session could be pretty bad as well… if two weps drop with leech/speed and three people choose speed, none can roll on the leech one which gets greeded by a priest. This is assuming both were a direct upgrade to those 3 people.
In PUGS i can understand the one roll thing, but in other circumstances the rule might not fit.
Catalyst is coming.
My guess would be calling the CM “Kanye” as he has fallen from grace to the general public.
We have been doing 2/3/9 nm guild alt runs for three weeks now just with the usual group loot
between three preservation evokers i am decked out, other dude got couple a pieces and third one GOT NOTHING. NOT A SINGLE ITEM in three raids one her own.
Now i will move to heroic cos there is nothing for me to get from NM and she will be rolling against another butt naked evoker that will take my place.
Such an awesome fair system
God, I hope that isn’t the solution. That’s horrible if so, especially considering it will surely be super limited in uses like it was in SL until the end.
You unlock 1 use per week by a quest. But it unlocks 1 use for all toons you have.
