It’s still a little bit annoying for fury because fury warriors have to set their loot spec to arms to not get 1 handers for dungeons, and then switch it back to fury so they can roll for a second 2 hander in raids.
All of this can be fixed if blizz didn’t listen to the 30 or so people screaming for smf
Holy crap, so much effort to shoe horn a bad loot distribution system. Imagine if you guys put the effort into other systems. What a waste of resources.
Sorry, I didn’t know players running LFR are actually participating in race to world first. Lol? If players running LFR are doing it for “progression” they should probably just head in to normal raids which are literally EASIER and drop better loot. SMH.
tier gear is gear progression - sorry you are such a snob you can’t understand that.
Getting transmogs is progression for me then. I enjoy collecting transmogs, and that is literally the only thing that benefits me from LFR.
We all know that will never since can’t get into normal through their own effort. They’ve become dependent upon automation to coordinate content.
blizzard thinks you should come second
Blizz should add mounts and pets to LFR too that only drop for people that have less than 10 mounts, what a great idea that would be. Heck, let’s just restrict anyone who has a M+ rating of 2000+ from running normal or heroic dungeons, or any M+ below 10+. If you’re maxed renown, let’s just restrict those players from doing world quests or different faction events. Don’t these all sound like fantastic ideas to you?
With this system I don’t come second, I come never. There is never going to be someone in LFR who doesn’t need a piece that drops. The whole purpose of LFR is for people to gear up their alts or to get carried through a raid they could never do. Someone’s alt will get the piece I want for transmog for my main.
I think you lost your marbles and have gone totally nuts over the idea you can’t have a tint of gear you will probably never use.
Look at my character page idiot, I’m literally using the LFR tint pieces because they’re my favorite tint. But can’t collect any more of them now thanks to people like you.
Nope not me I was happy with personal loot. Blame it on your types who whined about wanting master loot back and who abused the personal loot system.
That’s beside the point, and is just a scapegoat. You just argued that only people who the piece is a direct ilvl upgrade for should be able to need on it. Just because you don’t collect transmogs doesn’t mean others don’t. Someone might play the game to increase the ilvl of their gear (which they have a million other sources in the game to do so), but I personally play the game to collect transmogs. You’re saying I shouldn’t even get a chance.
Here are all things that give higher ilvl than LFR raid:
-Weekly renown events
-Crafted gear
-Weekly world events
-Weekly world boss
-Daily super rare kills
-Mythic +
-PvP
In your guild group you would not be allowed to take upgrades away from other people just because you wanted a piece of gear for transmog. Why should you be able to do that in LFR.
Because I run the same guild group with the same people every single week for months. Eventually everyone will get the gear and we can start all getting transmogs.
I have a different set of 29 other people every single LFR. Someone is always going to need the piece of loot I want for transmog, ALWAYS. There will never be a situation where those 29 people won’t, and if there is, it truly will be a miracle and I should play the lottery.
Your solution is to wait until you can solo it - you have thousands of other pieces you can use until then, you won’t be without.
I can argue the exact same thing for you. Just wait until next patch and you won’t need the loot from LFR as an ilvl upgrade. It’s as easy as that.
The difference for me, though, is that you only have to wait a few months until the next patch, I have to wait YEARS to even be able to do my “progression”.
BFA LFR still isn’t open for soloing, and that expansion came out many years ago now.
Next patch, if this loot system stays in place, I STILL won’t be able to need on transmog pieces from the previous patch’s LFR, because it will be an upgrade for someone running LFR.
oh so your guild is doing it wrong - all those guys should put transmog first and upgrades second. How about you tell them that - that you need to have transmog should come first and they can wait until next patch for their upgrade.
Please report back on how that goes over will you.
