The group finder is an inferior tool to the Dungeon Finder of old. I am missing huge chunks of the game because we simply can’t find a tank or a healer. Please stop this experiment no one asked for and just put in RDF

Yeah its really really bad. Worse when you can load up retail… see a really outstanding example of one… and then log over to WotLK and see the perfect example of how NOT to do it.

At this point it’s utterly obvious the devs’ ego is the driving force.
The system is terrible. It’s incredibly buggy, and even if it wasn’t it still would be a total failure. There is no socializing in the group forming process. All it is is a waste of time. Dungeon finder would let players actually concentrate on playing the game. Instead we spend as much time getting to the content, than just doing the content. It stinks of Retail design: slow players down, time gate everything.

My tinfoil hat says this is just as planned. The tool is so bad and buggy that we are forced to /w whether they’re DPS, heals or tank! Social fun!

The worse part is that its designed for board room success story. “Look everyone in the game is using it!!! Wild success!!”

100% Correct on that. There is no other explanation for it. It seems every argument for removing RDF was about as weak as it gets, and The posts to bring it back aren’t ending, I personally hope they never do until Blizzard gets over their EGO TRIP.

I write down the names of every player I whisper “wanna tank” even if they say “can’t you see that I am dps?”
I will remember them forever.
and it could be Server specific, BUT NO! They must redesign the wheel themselves!
I actually prefer the TBC version to the abomination that is supposed to be an improvement.

Someone who plays a tank or heal class and insists on only doing dps should be barred from any group. They’re welcome to solo dps themselves to max level!
I was feral on my druid. Qued as tank. Get more whispers to heal than to tank.

That’s what people said a few months ago when Blizzard announced the LFG tool. Just as many single anecdotes now as there were then. Going to be just as many in a few months, if not more.

Automatic delisting once the group is formed and having to individually reply with “Sorry we are full. Thank you tho” instead of posting “Thank you. We are full.” on the LFG channel is such thrilling socializing experience.
