I am unable to find any Shadowlands dungeons using the Group Finder. Only BfA dungeons are listed.
For reference, I started playing Shadowlands when it became free after the Dragonflight patch/release. I have been working through the Shadowlands content and am currently trying to get through one of the quests (The Spires of Ascension) in my Kyrion Covenant Campaign, which requires me to complete a Dungeon. I am unable to progress any further in the campaign until I do this one dungeon quest, but since no Shadowlands dungeons are showing in the Group Finder, I can’t queue for it.
I am level 60. My item level is 253. I’ve tried a bunch of the Chromie timeline stuff but Chromie in Stormwind does not give me any options to switch timelines or anything. I’ve submitted a support ticket but they just told me to try all the things I’ve already tried.
Does anyone have ANY idea how to fix this, or am I just stuck with a bug that has literally stopped me from progressing any further in Shadowlands? It’s annoying enough that Kyrian is the only faction in SL that has a dungeon-gated quest for the covenant campaign, but it’s made entirely worse by the fact that I can’t even DO the quest.
Or rather, I should say that I have not bought Dragonflight, but I did do some of the pre-release content which upgraded my gear. Level 60 is my max though, and I have no access to DL content other than what was released in the patch and is available to all players.
this is either a bug or a their standard way . been this way since df launch still no word on which it is . its different than all other expansions have been .
It wasn’t exactly removed, those dungeons are still very much available. However, BFA is default, so if you are between 10-60 you should default to those dungeons as you are leveling.
If you want to use Dungeon Finder for a Shadowlands dungeon, then you need to select Shadowlands as your timeline with Chromie. If you wish to do a Pandarian dungeon you’d want to select Mists of Pandaria with Chromie, as with Legion, Cataclysm, Wrath of the Lich King, Warlords of Draenor and Burning Crusade.
If you are 60+, dungeon finder can no longer be used for those dungeons but you can visit them in the world.
I can visit SL dungeons manually, but I don’t see ANY way to “use group finder to find others to run them”. This seems contradictory to the way Group Finder works now (which is INSANE, by the way). You stated that Group Finder will only show BfA dungeons, so how exactly am I supposed to use Group Finder to run SL dungeons??
Which brings me back to my current problem. I’m not in a Guild. I NEED to do The Spires of Ascension quest before I can continue ANY more of my Covenant Campaign or Runecarver campaign. So how exactly do I get help with this dungeon when Group Finder doesn’t work and I don’t know anyone in-game who can help?
Blizzard Support, tell me how to complete my quest now please? You made it so I can’t queue for the dungeon I need to continue playing.
