It’s literally been two days. Its not like you are tier 2 pushing tier 3.
On a general note.
There is a lot of misinformation in this thread. Mostly from the people who think the Grob community will be “fractured”.
Half of your community is waiting 3+ hours a night to even log in. DD is the only way to resolve the queue. Stop the whining. We have two, two can easily support a healthy population. DD is very much alive and well.

According to most Grobbulus people we should all suck it up and wait to play for weeks because it’s selfish to want a server to play on now because we’re splitting the RP-PvP community!

The 2 people I heard say that do not speak for the entire community.
Besides, if those types of people are on Grob and you go to DD, you’re better off.

I might make some alliance alts there later,but man my guild and friends are all on Grob. And I’m 17 now so I really don’t want to these entire levels.
They really should have made the server like a week earlier at best.
how do you have both horde and alliance chars on one server (Grob)? two accounts?
I have my names, not the characters. If I swap sides from whichever side they’re currently reserved under there’ll be a mass cleansing and recreation.

Or you could say I see a lot of threads from DD people worried that their need for instant gratification is going to leave them all alone when the new car smell is gone and they don’t want to feel stupid for not being able to hang in there. So they come to the forum trying to encourage everyone to join them so they don’t end up on a dead server.
I don’t care if people post threads to join them on DD, just don’t be mad when people from Grob post to let people know that the RP PvP community that was forming for Grob mostly isn’t moving. People should have all the facts before they make a decision, not just the ones you want them to know.
They aren’t in the same time zone so pick will pick what’s closer. They aren’t really competing with each other. Grob was bloated because it was the only RP PVP choice. Now you can stay there if that’s your time zone, or move if it isn’t. The bloat is gone.

Listen, if you really can’t hold your crap together for a week while the initial launch clears out, then by all means, go get your jollies off on DD. Just don’t be mad that most of us won’t be joining you as we have been through this rodeo twice before and know where this ride ends.
I get it, most people need instant gratification. It’s whats wrong with society as a whole. I need it now, I demand it now, I must have it now, me me me me me. It’s a free country if you live in the States so you are entitled to that if you want. Will also be the United States undoing, but thats another topic for another time.
Back on topic, don’t be mad that those of us that are sticking it out and are posting in DD threads to let people know most of the rp-pvp community isn’t moving. People deserve all the facts before they make a decision. Queues will go down as people decide Classic isn’t for them or that they don’t like server. The latter is definitely a big factor for Grobbulus because Grob was the least populated of the “PvP On” servers at launch. Many PvP’rs just flowed to the server which had the shortest queue, which was Grob at the time. Some of them likely won’t stick around as more PvP servers are launched.
There is a Moon Guard guild gatekeeping the RP on Grob? Thats news to me, who are they?
I wish we could get open transfers to DD. It’s kind of silly that they opened an EST server 5 hours after I was into levelling and didnt notice. I really don’t want to start over

Don’t think of it as starting over. Thinking of it as correcting the mistake of not being on DD.
If DD ends up with a healthier RP community, I’ll bounce over. Going to give it some time. I’ve only seen like 2 people with MRP/TRP so far and only had one pseudo-RP encounter with someone when I was giving out free potions and bandages. Bit too early to know how that’ll how shape out but it does kind of seem like DD will be better for people that want an RP-PvP server.
We will see!

I reserved my name on Grobbulus, but it’s always High or Full when I try to play, so I find myself on Deviate Delight instead. One thing I never missed about Vanilla was the queue…
I haven’t had a queue on Grob in a long time. Even logging peak hours.
