Alliance is LOCKED on Grobbulus not allowing anyone that is Alliance to transfer over due to an imbalance faction… ALL my characters are on this server… except 1
Blizzard should give us the option for a FREE faction change to horde with the transfer to the mega server Grobbulus to fix this solution…

Nah they dont remember they just want their demands met.
I mean they’re enforcing faction balance and ironforge pro has the server as 56.4% ally / 43.6% horde
I can’t even pay them to leave grob horde side, paid server transfers off do not work.

IFP really only tracks logs and leaderboard metrics. So far from perfect. I am sure its probably not absolute balance too. Probably has some wingle room. Plus who know how they count alts… unsubs… subbed but not playing… its kinda messy.
Which is why it probably was dumb to really try to police to begin with.
It’s not perfect but it’s what we have. Blizzard won’t release their own metrics. It definitely feels like the server is alliance heavy rn when I’m out in the open world but that’s just feels-craft and likely impacted by layers.
Oh I agree. It feels that way to me as well. I kinda feel it might be an alt situation. I mean… I got a guy in my guild like like every class at 90s or something… maybe even more with some dupes… if those are counting then thats what one person could do to shove like 10 to 1 alone. Technically some guy on alliance should be the same and it balances out right…
But… if lets say during this transfer process a bunch of people put say thier pve characters on pagle and then dropped just a pvp character over here to wpvp between raids and stuff (smart play if done btw)… it might shake that up a bit. For sure with alliance being the more desired pvp faction on the game techinal side of things.

There’s nothing in the support pages or details for a paid server transfer that says it can’t be used to go to their new virtual / connected realms. The paid transfers are even on sale right now, and were SPECIFICALLY on sale as part of this whole consolidation.
It’s a service and product that explicitly doesn’t function as advertised. It doesn’t work. Support (via ticket) has no idea why and no answers. The support FORUM has no idea why and flat out admits the devs don’t check or speak there. The dev/game producer who brainstormed all this (the consolidation, which I agree was necessary), Fwoibles, has been vanished into the Nether since info dumping a FAQ post and answering 0 questions. We’ve had one blue post PERIOD across:
- Servers being locked when they shouldn’t be
- Paid services not being functional
- Name sniping happening despite Fwoibles saying they had safeguards against it
- The memory leak-causing patch
- Rampant bugs in game
And it’s from Kaivax. About…Arena MMR? Which is important, and a valid concern, but what about EVERYTHING ELSE LISTED ABOVE?

Preach Dumplingmom… even if they are working on it… trying to find a solution… or are still investigating… it sure would be nice to just hear it after a week.
Any serious PvP server is going to lean heavy on Alliance simply because of Will.
